Dark Moments
Am I the only one who went they get sick, no matter what the illness is, their mind turns against them? Because you are stuck doing nothing but healing, your brain wonders due to not having anything to distract it other than crappy TV or films. And if you have an anxious brain like mine, your brain can go to some dark places.

Living With Anxiety
There was something bittersweet about figuring out that I had an anxiety disorder. My entire life I always felt a little different. Even as a child, I would wonder what was wrong with me. How come I always felt like an outcast? Better yet.... how come I always felt nervous about absolutely everything I did?

Remission
I think that most people who suffer from a mental illness, "depression," "anxiety," "bipolar," "borderline personality" etc. often are, or become on some level, a hypochondriac. In my life I have watched my mother call in sick, go to emergency rooms, see doctors for things she didn't even have wrong. I have gone to emergency rooms more times then I can count for things I knew damn well were not wrong with me. Any weird feeling, new bruise, or mark. My mind always goes to the worst, or most the times I go because I get so overwhelmed and anxious with my life I feel I have to go.

In today's world, there are so many things to worry about. Work, life, money, school, family, there are so many to list but, when things get really bad and anxiety rears its ugly head, things can become even more magnified to the point where it stops you from living a normal life.

How I Battled Crippling Anxiety at 18
When I was 18, I struggled with anxiety so badly that I was having between two to six panic attacks a day. It left me, a usually independent young woman, completely unable to be left alone and displaced whenever I left the house. Unfortunately, for many people, this is incredibly common. Fortunately, we live in a world where destigmatising mental wellbeing is a huge priority, and I wanted to share the experiences I had during this period and some ways in which I was able to overcome this to try and help other people that may be going through the same thing.

Mental Health?
Hello there, let's start out with what mental health is, shall we? Mental health is a person's condition revolving around their psychological and emotional wellness; sometimes we have very positive mental health, sometimes it's average, and sometimes it's negative. No one really wants the negative one. It makes you feel down, depressed, psychotic, and sociopathic. These are things we don't want, we all want to be happy right? Happy with what we do, who we are, how we express ourselves, but sometimes we don't get to the negative side on our own. There are bullies at school, rapists on the street, abuse in some homes, deaths of loved ones, terrible jobs. These are some reasons why we become negative; we want to be positive, but something happens again. I myself have a very negative personality. It is because of bullies, loss of loved ones, self-hatred, not being accepted. I want to be happy but things happen. My negativity comes a lot from losing loved ones, but mostly from not being accepted by my family when I came out as gay. Sometimes I have brief moments of positivity about myself, but it is soon dragged down. I know how all this negative stuff feels, and I want people to know that I am out here, understanding it and willing to help.
