Magical ones
Once upon a beautiful starry night a beautiful baby girl was born but she was not a normal baby girl. ⁸This beautiful baby girl was born with magic powers. Everyone was wondering how this happened and why it happened. No one has been born with magic powers in almost 100years in the royal family but her parents did not care if she had powers or not. They loved her no matter what. And this was 15 years ago. The little girl grew up to be a beautiful young lady and I only know that because I am that little girl. Oh hello, I am christina by the way. I was the first one in 100 years to be born with magic powers in the royal family. And this is the story of how I saved my family and my country. Well I am getting ahead of myself. Let us start where it began.

Sally Green Diner
Sally Green Diner Sally was born in 1887 in the midst of the Industrial Revolution. She was a beautiful shiny green, which was unusual since most cabooses were red. She was green, because unlike other cabooses, she was at the back of the wealthy folks’ train. She was very proud of her role because she cared for the servants of the wealthy who owned the train and the station as well as many other businesses. She loved her job especially because she traveled far and wide and had the opportunity to leisurely see the countryside and the big cities. She loved to see the people dressed in such fine attire, especially the ladies with their very fancy and well-adorned dresses, shoes, and hats. She loved to listen their conversations.

Lupine Dreams
Lupine (Lupinus) I’ve always loved lupine flowers. Named for the wolf because of a mistaken belief that the Lupine depleted or “wolfed” down the nutrients in the surrounding soil, plus some species of lupine are toxic to livestock, they’ve had a sort of love/hate relationship with humans. They do not deplete the soil but enrich it by fixing nitrogen from the air into soil form which helps support other plants. However, there’s that whole poison thing so as beautiful as they are, it’s really best not to eat them.

The Seer
Its 3:06 am. Like clockwork, I can hear Pop Malone flipping my blueberry pancakes. Now here comes Pumpkin Malone with her award-winning organic peach chamomile tea. As I continued my sketches, I took a sip of tea and my phone rang. Its 3:14 am. I answer and it’s my older sister. “Hey Vi, I was calling to let you know I’m on my way home from school. I will be there at 10 am. I had a dream about a dead eagle, so I need to see everyone’s faces.” I said, “Great! I miss you so much! I will see you then.” I haven’t seen her since she dropped me off, on my first day of senior year, on her way back to college. I cut my night short and told the Malones goodbye. I wanted to get good sleep so I could spend the day with my sister.

"24/7" DINER
I arrived at the hotel last night. I hated arriving Monday mornings. Awaking much too early to drive from my last gig, rushing to make the dancer meeting by 11, and the first showtime was often at noon! Dance CD’s and stage props everywhere, costumes and toiletries strewn all over the bed, suitcases exploding in every corner. No thanks. Better to spend my day off driving and arrive with time to settle in.

The Portal Cafe
"There's a thin line between what is real and what is not. Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference." That's what was written on the billboard Matt saw before he looked up higher into the sky and saw what appeared to be a flying saucer. The lights coming from the saucer were almost blinding and caused Matt to miss his turn on the highway. He figured he would take the next exit and turnaround, but that exit never came. So Matt kept driving. Fog crept in and visibility was low. Matt had been driving for hours and he was hungry now. Having not seen any place to eat for miles, he was pleasantly surprised when he finally saw a diner. It was midnight on a Saturday, and he knew that he was lucky to find any place at all that was still open at this hour. Fortunately, The Portal Cafe was open 24/7.

Merlin and Panther
Taking a few deep breaths, centre your body, breathing in deeply through your nose into the base of your lungs, releasing a long slow, exhale allowing all the tension in your neck, shoulders, back, hips, legs and feet to relax, releasing the energy of the day. Take a few more deep breaths. Centre and relax, becoming one.

The Flaming Sword Of Michael
“Knowledge has led them to the reality of insight, and they are in contact with the spirit of certainty. They find easy what is regarded as rough by those who live in comfort and luxury. They are intimate with what terrifies the ignorant. They are in the company of people with their bodies, yet their souls are lodged in the highest realm.”

Dog Days of Eternity
The voice of my ancestral forefather from the historical records echoed through my head long after I had turned down for the night. I circled my sleeping quarters, and kneaded the cushion with my paws time and again, but could not find rest. His words in his ancient tongue, became the source of my research obsession, and the cornerstone of our society.
