About Binding Prometheus
I want to start actively advocating on behalf of my own work, and the most valuable part of my canon is, without a doubt, Binding Prometheus, the play I have been working on since 2019 and only finished in 2023 as part of my MA. The play itself is an amalgamation of a million different inspirations. On one end, it evokes the Ancient Greek myth-play, deriving its own title from the earliest extant work of Western drama we have, Aeschylus’s Prometheus Bound. On the other end, it borrows significantly from the sci-fi bulwarks from over the years, namely Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein and Karel Capek’s Rossum’s Universal Robots. The play could be an episode of Black Mirror, I fear. I don’t know. I’ve only ever seen one episode of Black Mirror.

A Dystopia of Our Own Design
If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face—for ever. –George Orwell, 1984 More and more often, I look around and find that the themes of my favorite dystopian novels have come to life: separatism/division, erasure, controlling the past to control the future, the rich stamping on the poor while the poor take it out on each other, using technology to control and monitor our lives, etc. It is everything that we have been warned against, especially in literature—time and time again.

Review of 'Superman'
I've been following and enjoying Superman's exploits since I started watching him played by George Reeves on television when I was a kid in the 1950s, and started reading the comic book a few years later, created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster way back in 1938. And as an adult I even contributed an article about The Man of Steel -- “Superman, Patriotism, and Doing the Ultimate Good” (which explored why Superman didn't just wipe out Hitler and the Nazis in World War Two) in The Man from Krypton -- an anthology published in 2006.

What I think about space tourism
It’s Midsummer and it’s raining. It looks and feels like the start of winter already. Instead of sitting to contemplate how miserable I am feeling right now, I decided to read some news to find something worth complaining about? Why? I already told you why.
