Could Astrology be based in reality?
As the subtitle says I do not believe personally in horoscopes or astrology, but I implore you to not disregard my article. In the idea of horoscopes, I do not believe in a mythical force or connection between my personality, my actions and the star’s alignment. However, our mind are incredible machines. Simply believing you will get better has been proven to benefit health when your body is suffering from illness. I think this kind of reinforcement could be in play with horoscopes and zodiac signs.

Crabby and Proud
Astrology is right up there with tarot cards and psychics- either you believe in it or you don’t. With all the beautifully insane things that happen in our world, I find it difficult to believe that life is simply black and white, right and wrong are always definitive, and magic is only for fairytales. Hi, I’m a Cancer and I’m crabby and proud.

Is It a Bunch of Bull or Was I Taurean From Birth?
Every time I'm asked about my birth sign, I'm happy to talk about my Taurean attributes. The response I get before a discussion occurs is usually, "Oh, the stubborn one." Yes, that's right. I am quite stubborn, and I will discuss it, but many other 'typical' Taurean qualities are inherent to my nature. Let's explore the stability, anger, sensuality, stubbornness in my life from being born a Taurus. These are traits to be managed rather than 'giving' into them. I will touch on those thoughts along the way.

The Balancing of the Scales
The ineffable challenge of life; to find balance. This I am reminded of by the stars, and the sign I was born under. I seek this often, sometimes daily. Yet there have been many times when I have tipped the scales weighing life from one side much heavier and more pronounced than the other. It was like being centered somehow did not provide the challenge or growth necessary. Sitting and judging from that fence lost its authenticity. So began the tipping game. Personality and life choices taking proverbial walks on the wild side. It was as though I had to jump on the other side, to be flung in the air; to feel alive and taste the game.

Best? Worst? Which Zodiac Sign Makes The Best Relationships
Libra Libra is one of the two signs that is ruled by Venus, so this fact alone makes them very appealing to all of the other signs in the Zodiac - Libras are simply built for relationships. Venus energy speaks to love, money, and relating, and Libras are well-versed in all of these areas. They are charming, well-dressed, eloquent, social, and more than happy to go the extra mile for someone they care about. Libra also rules the Seventh House of Partnership, which is the most important house to look at when romantic commitment is the goal. Libras will not shy away from commitment, and while they can handle casual relationships, they will only stick around long term for people they see themselves going the distance with. Whether it's work, friendship, or romance, having a Libra by your side is a serious asset.

I Am Not a Virgo
Hello, I was born September 7th of the year 2000. This means that by birth I am a Virgo. Now, what does it mean to be a Virgo, you ask? It means that I am, by nature, methodical, logical, practical, and loyal. Or at least I am supposed to be. To tell you the truth, I am none of these things. And I will prove it.

Perfectly Unbalanced
While I adore astronomy and like to delve into fantasy and magic all to often - astrology is not something I ever really got into. As an early October baby, my star sign falls to Libra - the scales of balance and harmony. I always found this amusing when I was younger - I preferred to cause chaos and destruction wherever I went. I argued with my sister purely for sport and I was never particularly interested in being social.

An exception
Astrology is such a fascinating thing. It ascribes to you, from the moment of birth, some traits that are yours simply because of when and where you're born! Some people write it off as nonsense. Others let it dictate their every move. Regardless of where you fall in that spectrum, chances are you've done at least some research into what your sign is supposed to say about you. I know I have. My research has led me to several conclusions, but I'll get to those in a minute. First, let's talk about what being a Virgo is supposed to say about me.

Me as a Libra
Well to start off with, I am of the sign Libra. Putting myself in the spotlight for this moment in time. Being a Libra can have its challenges, yet it is also rewarding. As it is usually stated, Librans can often be seen as "up in the clouds". With this theory yes I can often find myself daydreaming or thinking up big plans... Following through can sometimes be another matter entirely. With often being called out as having a big imagination, I have always been drawn to creative pursuits, arts and crafts of various mediums... I have an insanely bad habit of starting new projects as I come up with new ideas. Sometimes I get back to the old ones and complete them. Just so many possibilities and opportunities!
