One Night Only
The illicit version of truth or dare involved all the contestants in a circle as the military cheered them on. Yuzuko picked truth every time, hoping that the others were too drunk or high to notice that she wasn't doing any dares. Her luck ran out when Lavender raised her hand.

Wedding
Navigating the temple confused Yanyu. Long red corridors with golden doors. Yanyu felt out of place with her tattered clothes, she didn't know what sort of wedding it would be, but it would be perfect because she's marrying Chang-Hoon. She stopped at the marble staircase. "Where are we suppose to be going?"

Spy
Sia called for an urgent meeting with Sergeant Dust, Daz, and the whole production team. Her fingers curled in her fists. Gold nails stabbed her palms. High heels over her knees. "We must ensure points are given fair and square. Ròs and Todd will not be given points for the robots taken down by the monkey." She expected them to nod, so when a dozen horse faces turn to Sergeant Dust, she was screaming inside. Biting her lip, she turned to him. "You have something to say?"

The Rules
Note: This is an edited, revised and finalised version. You can find the draft here. The next time Yuzuko woke up, she was in a padded cell with everyone, excluding Lisa and the bus driver. She hovered around, looking at the fear-stricken faces and stuttering bodies. Lavender's fruity perfume threw her off along. Screams were lost with the orchestra in the background. She saw that Bobby stuck close to Todd, appearing more at ease by somebody he knew and trusted. Yuzuko wrapped her arms around Sakura. "It's happening."

Dreams
Who would have thought that the library served well as a medical centre? Certainly not Fan. He was expecting endless corridors of bookshelves and dated signs. He thought his eyes were about to pop out with the cafeteria on the right, and the medical room on the left. Brushing his hands through the bookshelves, he jolted at his clean hands. "How do they keep this place so polished?"

Confrontation
Yuzuko had no idea where she was or how she ended up in darkness. Her backpack weighed her down on the floor. Panting and sweating, her palms stretched out against the wall. Her hair clung against her face as she tried to have a feel for a light switch. Why was it so silent?

Comatose
Constant beeping and distant chatter in the hallways made Yuzuko feel out of place. Every time she turned her face, she saw soldiers in slings and bandages. Many of the faces, Yuzuko had recognised from the party or the boardroom. She had never heard them speak before.

Price of Fame
The sun glistened on Harumi Lake. Its warmth reached down on Alfie and his mother paddling around the lilies. The goldfish passing by seemed friendly with the frogs bouncing on the leaves. Catherine twirled around. Giddiness with being so close to nature made her feel like a child again. Showing off in her bikini, she ventured deeper into the lake and began to swim.
