I live in Oxfordshire, England. I used to write a lot of fan fiction and mainly just write poetry now. I've been to over 20 countries and written many books. I'm currently working on a horror story called Heavenly Seas.

Summer in the 1950's was the pinnacle of Joyce's adulthood. All the memories she had of her youth were innocent and fruitful. Holding Oscar's hand as they took gentle walks up and down Blackpool's piers. The proposal at sunset followed by wild parties on Saturday nights.

Rodger snatched the night nurse's car keys, as much to Joyce's disdain. The four of them, including Dorothy and the apparent immobile Victoria, strolled down the reception area. He popped the keys into his pocket and fiddled with the cupboard behind the counter.

Meanwhile over at the Emerald Oasis Nursing Home, a riot was about to take place. Maxine Patrick may come across as lazy due to her unemployment or uncaring, but she had a side to her that many rarely knew. Maxine had spent thirty minutes trying to look for her mother, but couldn’t see her. She searched everybody’s room, asked all the staf and even residents if they had seen her mum.

"She's still the empress though," Joyce said. "The Black Dogs aren't considered citizens by the fairy government," Fore explained. "I'm not allowed to call myself King Fore anymore. I've been wiped from their records as if I've never existed. At last that's how Fee would have it if she had her own way. She managed to turn our own children against me."

"Oh doesn't he go on?" Mimi moaned. "He's so rude and full of himself." "And snooty," Emily said in agreement. She dashed over to the lamps and with the click of her fingers, the lampshades returned to their original positions. Joyce and Hisashi worked together with the fairies to tidy up the lounge. By the time they had finished, it was getting close to tea time. Rodger came into the room just as Hisashi limped out.

Meditate with Depeche Mode
Depeche Mode have over 200 songs catalogued through 17 albums. Their sound has changed through time, but their electronic base and funky tunes remain as relevant and catchy as they were back in the day. Many know the greatness of their early work with hits like Just Can’t Get Enough, People Are People and Enjoy The Silence. Whatever your favourite era of the band is, there’s no doubt the band have produced a handful of masterful songs. When I saw Vocal’s challenge to produce a Zen playlist and write about it, the first thing that came to mind was Depeche Mode.
