2023 MLB Season
The mob is experiencing a chaotic period. Players are fighting each other and their teammates. Rivalries are intensifying for a division title. Managers are arguing with umpires, and even their own pitchers. A player having an exceptional season is failing to secure a playoff spot. The highest-paid players on a team dislike each other and are seeking new opportunities. Wealthy teams are disappointing their fans, while a poor team is surprising everyone. However, due to a recent incident, even their own fans are angry. The angriest fans are waging a war against their own franchise, making life miserable for the owners. The Oakland A's, the worst team in baseball, are believed to want this outcome. They have the lowest statistics in batting average, slugging percentage, hits, and runs scored. They also give up the most runs, walk the most batters, have the worst defense, and are on track to have the worst run differential in history. In April, the A's announced their plan to move the team to Vegas, which sparked resistance from their fans. The fans have organized events to protest, including throwing tomatoes at pictures of the owner and banning him from a local coffee shop. They even chanted "sell the team" during a kids' event at the stadium. The fans have also displayed signs criticizing the ownership, leading MLB to crop them out of highlights. The fans called out MLB and forced them to apologize. The most notable protest was a reverse protest night, where attendance was intentionally low.
