Winters Embrace
Everything looks like a story books page

Winters Embrace
In evening's hush, where shadows play,
The tender breath of winter’s sway,
Glistening whispers, soft and bright,
Like lace in pale moonlight.
The world is draped in silken white,
As stars descend and kiss the night,
Each frosted blade, a diamond's gleam,
A frozen world, a waking dream.
From whispering trees to silent streams,
Nature creates her crystal dreams,
Like delicate jewels on branches bare,
A glimpse so rare, so beautifully fair.
With every breath, the chill draws near,
Inviting hearts to draw more near,
For in this moment, we’re wrapped in grace,
Winter’s embrace, a warm, tender place.
So let us linger, hearts aglow,
In the glow of frost, a gentle flow,
For though the magic may fade away,
Its beauty lingers, come what may.

I've been writing poetry since the age of 10. With pen in hand, I wander the realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture you ❤️#Marie381UkWrites
