The Phone Box

Our love was sealed by a 10p coin

The Phone Box

In the phone box, dimly lit,

We talked all night, bit by bit.

Words flowed freely, a heartfelt call,

Where love began, and we gave our all.

The coins clinked, one by one,

Till the money was nearly gone.

Yet in that booth, a spark was born,

A love to weather every storm.

Through the glass, the world stood still,

As time bent softly, it was our will

One night you paid the call,

The next night me, we had a ball.

The call would end, our hearts held tight,

Bound by the magic of that night.

The phone box vanished, but not the start,

Of a timeless love etched in the heart.
