Why You Should Love Yourself
Growing up, I learned many times over how hard life could be. I wouldn't even claim to have had an abnormally difficult upbringing. My birth being the result of a few mistakes, a bit too much alcohol and the decision to not get an abortion, I was never given the opportunity to have a full and healthy childhood or family, something that hangs over me to this day. I held it against my mother, and my father, and their mothers and fathers. I took issue with the world at large that had strained them in so many ways, and the systems of government that had failed to help them find a better place in life. It is very easy after all, to slump your shoulders, defeated by the hardships of life. To seek the origin of your burdens and complications, hoping to understand why you carry this weight that you do, and to choose anger and spite and sadness in the face of these things that have put you in the place you are in today.

When the most ordinary tool becomes the most powerful: your favorite song
This guided meditation is something I have done unconsciously for years and has become the most powerful way to feel the feelings I most times either do not want to feel, cannot express or even begin to understand.

Manifesting What You Want...and how it really works!
I have never really been one to believe in the whole "you manifest what you want" or those sayings that people say "the energy you put out is the energy you get back"...blah blah blah. I've spent most of my life being taught that you get where you want to go in life by not only hard work but networking and knowing the right people in the right places. My father has been in sales my entire life, and networking was one of those key things he taught me growing up. With teachings like 'never burn a bridge', 'always save a contacts information', 'have a strong introductory presence' and so on.

You Before Life
In life people tend to prioritize careers. They’ll prioritize they’d finances. They’ll prioritize people. They’ll prioritize their home. They’ll prioritize a vacation before the person going on it. Everything comes before the most important person in the entire scenario, you!

True Self Love
Part 1 Learning to truly love yourself is harder than you think. Most everyone think they love themselves, but in reality we don’t! Think about it, do you feel guilty when you tell someone “No”? Do you live to please others? Do you allow others to hurt you? Do you choose others over your own needs? THAT IS NOT SELF LOVE!!

Get Your Own House in Order
There’s an old adage I have been thinking about lately about how it is primarily important to take care of oneself first and not just in one way but in every part of your life. Before you can set an example to others in your house, or others in your community, or others in an overall society, you first need to show that you can ‘get your own house in order.’ You need to be able to handle yourself and your own day-to-day problems first before you can lead others to do the same in their own lives.

Feet and mind wandering together
Breathe. Get yourself off the couch. Breathe. Put on clothes that make you feel comfortable. Breathe. Put on those sneakers you like so much. Breathe. Remember your jacket, it might be chilly. Breathe. Bring your journal, you might get struck by inspiration. Breathe. Unlock the door that has been closed for 3 days straight and open it up. Just breathe.

A Voice for The Foreigner
Every twenty-four hours we are given the blessing of a new day. We possess fresh eyes, a clean mind, recharged legs, a quick tongue, and supple hands ready to seize the day. Your failures, mistakes, and short comings from the day before do not exist in the present day.
