What if We Looked at Life as if It Was an Abstract Painting
"What the hell is this supposed to be?" "My four year old could've drawn this shit." "I don't understand this painting, it's just a bunch of random splatters and splashes of paint on a canvas and blaby blah blah."

There Is Positivity in Negativity
"To everything, there is a season, a time for every purpose under the heavens."—Ecclesiastes 3:1 Above is a photograph that I took of the same exact tree, three months apart at the beginning of 2018. I was just fascinated at how a tree looks so empty and dead at the beginning of January, begins to transform when the climate changes in the Spring.

Discovering You Again
As women we have multiple pressures upon us of what we ‘should’ do and be as a female in society. We are bombarded with these pressures from all sides—social and media expectations, family and work commitments, the constant advertising ‘goals’ we are supposed to accomplish, and the result is we are diminished as individuals. We ‘must’ look a certain way, dress a certain way, and be all things to all people—Mother, wife, homemaker, excellent worker, athletic, fashionable, friend—and the list goes on. It is not achievable, and we should not try, but societal pressures make us feel like a failure if we don’t ‘match’ the ideal portrayed on every advert.

Heart in a Jar
What a violent way to end. With my heart in a jar, sitting in a dusty shelf in some weirdo’s office... that is not what happened. And I am very much alive. Truly alive, as some would say... this is not Once Upon a Time (TV show, not for kids—thank you, ABC), where you can just rip someone’s heart out with them still breathing, alive and well. This is not about a jealous step mother seeing her step daughter, and wanting nothing more than her heart, so she could just be done with this narrative. No. My apologies to those who enjoy such stories (I am one of them). I’m speaking in a more figurative fashion. I put my heart in a jar, because it was causing a little too much trouble, and I saw where it was leading... nowhere.

The Emotional Scale
Emotions vibrate at certain frequencies. Learn about the frequencies so that you can take charge of how you feel. David Hawkins suggests that you can muscle test yourself or others to determine just where you are vibrating at. Are you enlightened? Are you depressed? These are two vibrations that are at either end of the scale.

The Key
At first glance it may look like just a key. In fact, it is just a key. It is what the key represents to me that really matters. It's the journey that led to the key. This is the key that opens the door to my future. It's the key to my passion and my purpose. It is the key to my souls mission. It's the key to my very own business. A business I built in my heart with the intended purpose of helping others find their light. I have finally discovered my purpose and I have never felt as free as the moment I held that key in my hand for the first time.

Using the "Feeling of Lost" as Power to Find Yourself Again
A friend said to me once, that she believes we each have a purpose and a design for our lives already drawn out and when we feel much resistance and strife it is because we have strayed. Many of us, many times, have felt this way. These could be signs from the universe telling us to redirect. It could be opportunities that we need to walk into for a lesson learned. I know personally I have been in that moment many times. Each time I've fallen, I've come back stronger and wiser. And with each piece of wisdom I've gained, I've also come to learn myself more. I have made many mistakes. I have strayed quite often. But each of those times I have discovered something beautiful, important and unraveling.

What Does It Really Take to Change Your Life?
There are a lot of programmes and products out there on the internet that claim they can help change your life. It's to the point where most of us just tune it out, even if we're looking for that content, because we're scared of getting scammed. And we should be, there are a lot of unscrupulous people on the internet.
