Benefits of a Vegan Diet. Top Story - January 2018.
I’ve gone back and forth with myself about whether to write this or not, when I was given the subject I was excited. But I very quickly reclined and have been putting it off for over a month now. The reason? I don’t want the backlash that comes from it. Isn’t that funny? I can write openly about my sex life and intimate details of my relationship, but I am worried about the backlash from writing about what I choose to eat?!

Smoking
Throughout my teenage years, I could not wait to turn 18. As soon as I turned 18; this meant that I was now officially an adult (At least by the legal standards back in the late 1990s). As soon I obtained a legal identification card, I went to the nearest convenient store and bought my first pack of cigarettes.

Missing My Childhood
As an adult who works and sleeps and basically does nothing else, I have come to the conclusion, at 24, that "adulting" sucks, and I want my money back. If only it were that easy!! I would love to go back in time when life was simple and the worst part of my day was a nap. I miss and mourn my childhood every day I have to wake up to an alarm and get ready for another day.

4 Tips to a Healthier You This New Year
We all want to feel and look our best, but let's face it...we often don't have the motivation to do the things that are beneficial to our mental and physical well-being. These days, life is so fast-paced! We are overworked, underpaid, tired, and short on time. Believe me, I would rather spend my free time binge-watching Netflix than going to the gym.

Things You Should Do Right Before Bed
There are many of us that lack a good night's sleep. Either we sleep past 2 AM, constantly tossing and turning, or your surroundings are preventing you from sleep. Whatever it may be, there's a reason that most people wake up in the morning groggy and in the worst mood.

Workout Preface
I don't really believe in New Year's resolutions. To me, they just seem like they were made to be broken. With that being said, I have decided to really try and commit to bettering myself in the year to come. I am doing this in multiple facets of my life and one of them is through physical fitness and all around healthiness.

Why Being Strong Is a Lie
I went to my doctor today and as part of my routine visit she asked me how I’m doing. I told her I’m really good at faking how well I’m coping, but that I’m getting tired, that I’m losing my fight, my resilience. That old saying, ‘that which doesn’t kill you makes you stronger’ is bullshit. It might at first, but after a while it starts to wear you down until eventually you wish it would.

My Side of the Spectrum
“Really? You seem pretty normal to me.” That’s the reaction I usually get when I tell people I’m on the spectrum. And by that, I mean autism spectrum disorder. Not everyone understands what autism feels like, but in short, I describe it as going through parts in life in other ways. I’m stronger in some areas and skills, like in music for example. I play five instruments and sing, and with my perfect pitch I could tell you the key signature of a song just from listening to it. But in other areas, I tend to struggle more.

Three Oil Discussion
Starting at the beginning of the alphabet, I will start by talking about Copaiba, DiGize, and Frankincense. Each of these has their own strengths that benefit the body in different ways. They may be singles or they may be blends, but each has ways to help the body be better. Note: I am not a doctor. These oils have not been approved as medicine by the FDA.

Trying to Lose Weight in 2018
We live in a superficial world, we all know that; a world divided in two categories: beautiful or not. We’re fighting each other to know who’s the sexiest, who’s the one who’s going to win everybody’s heart. We’re inventing dumb challenges. We fix the bar so high that boys, if you do not have a six pack, you’re nothing and girls, if you can’t hold a pen under your boob, you’re never going to be sexy.
