'Do you' just got doable!
I find myself looking for words to describe 2020 at times, but remain blank, although, I do know what it felt like to me, a year of intense pressure, similar to a period in high school where you try to fit in but feel misunderstood in every group you join.

New Year New Me
Every year I always say the same things. They vary in between the “ this year I’m going to lose weight,” or “this year “ I’m going to be more social.” it’s like I’m a broken record, saying the same thing over and over. When I say my resolution I always say “ this year i will actually do it,” but I never do. I dont even say new year new me because it’s really not a new me. It’s just me in a different year so really nothing has changed except the year. People tend to say oh this year will be a new me but then they don't want to change. There are people to expect things to be put at their doorstep and then once they have it all will change at a snap of their finger but it won’t it will stay the same in telling you to decide you’re ready to change. In this new coming year, I decided I would change things up a bit, so I decided I would pick something and stick to it. It’s been two months and I can tell you I have already failed. The first few weeks I was going strong. then that temptation came and I tried to resist the urge to eat unhealthily or to close myself off and I gave in I did, I gave in to the voice in my head that was telling me to mess up. It’s like once I give in then it takes over my whole body and I just continue to mess up. I’m trying this new method where I put away all these temptations and focus on the task at have and so far I’m doing great. This year I said I wanted to keep my grades up and I am. In order to completely focus I power off my phone and put it up somewhere. I also said that I was going to spend more time with family because I know that people don't live forever and to spend as much time as I can with them and cherish the time I have with them. So I decided that I am going to visit my sister who lives in Las Vegas and spend time with her. Even though there is a pandemic going on and we can’t do much with her I’m still going to spend s much time have whither. I know I’m not the only one having a hard time sticking to their resolution. I know plenty of people who are having a hard time sticking to it. I mean it’s hard to go from doing one thing to doing another. It takes time and hard work and dedication to really be able to fully stick to something. There will be days you will want to give up and you will have to push through that and continue strong to get where you want to be. It takes time to accomplish things you may want in life, it may be hard but I guarantee you try to can do it. The key to success is to believe in yourself, don't let that temptation or others to keep control over you believe that you can and you will do it. If you don't believe then you will never know what you can do. Then that on what I will be stuck in your head, what if you did, what if you actually accomplish it. It the what is that will have you thinking. So just don't listen to your heart and tell yourself you can and you will do it because you believe in yourself.
