How I Intend to Succeed in 2023 with Priorities
Over the past couple of years, I continued to pile quite a bit onto my plate. On Radio Silence
For some reason, there are three or four of you beautiful people out there in the world who consistently read the dribble that I post on this website. While I do not fully understand your choice to do so, I am, in truth, so damnably grateful for it. When I first decided to share my writing, I was certain that absolutely nobody would be interested, and I was delighted to be proven wrong by you couple of weirdos. Therefore, it does not sit well in my heart or mind that I have, recently, repaid your unsolicited and overwhelmingly emboldening kindness with total radio silence. Formally, I apologize.

This one old journaling practice has changed my life!
What is a commonplace book? Oxford Languages defines a commonplace book as "a book into which notable extracts from other works are copied for personal use." I first heard of it as a kid reading about a character who kept one. I'm not certain which book exactly, but I'm pretty sure it had something to do with Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events and the V.F.D. And I am enjoying a hit of nostalgia while writing and researching, locating the quote I remember from his novel, "Lemony Snicket: The Unauthorized Autobiography."

Dignity of Labor : Labor is the only prayer that Nature answers
“Laziness brings poverty, Sin brings sorrow. Hard work brings wealth, Virtue brings happiness. ” More than a century and a half ago, Charles Darwin, the proponent of evolution, introduced the theory of the "Evolution of the best." Although his theory applies exclusively to the natural laws of evolution. The history of the rise and fall of human civilization also revolves around the laws of this theory. The more worthy he is in the history of human civilization, the greater his dignity. In the rules of civilization this qualification is determined by the criteria of labor. Survival is not a substitute for hard work in war. It is said that, 'The Survival of the fittest'. Labor is the key to the success and development of life.
