The Small Decision You Make at Night That Shapes Tomorrow
We often attribute our successes and failures, our triumphs and stumbles, to grand strategies, bold choices, and unforeseen circumstances. We analyze market trends, meticulously plan our schedules, and obsess over the big moments. However, hidden in plain sight, there's a far more subtle and potent force shaping our daily lives: the small decisions we make at night. These seemingly insignificant choices, made in the quiet hours before sleep, ripple outwards, influencing our energy levels, mood, productivity, and ultimately, the trajectory of our tomorrows.

Finding ways to integrate prayer into a busy life is not about creating a rigid schedule; it is about building habits that allow moments of connection, however brief, to become transformative.

The Trouble with /My/ Time
Today is supposed to be my fresh start to a new week, but I am still reeling with the realization that my private property means absolutely nothing to my children's father, that my parenting time and my personal plans are irrelevant enough to him to risk our child going without the prescription drink he needs - just because said adult's schedule is the sole valuable one?, and that there is likely nothing I can do to stop this behavior from simply continuing.

What Is Your Favorite Bible Verse?
Sometimes a few words from the Bible can change the way we see the world and guide the way we live our lives. One of my favorite verses comes from Isaiah 61:3. It says, “I will give them a crown of beauty instead of ashes of despair, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.” These words have carried a lot of meaning for me over the years. They have been more than inspiration. They have been a guide for how I try to show up in the lives of the people I care about.
