Georgies Window
My windows are not as big as I would like at my house but at my friend Georgie's, well living that close to the ocean... storms and the like , are beautiful and like a skekzi in behaviour . If you remember "the Dark Chrystal" the Skekzies were whom the Mystics converged with to become The Wise ones but only after some cataclysmic events in nature.

Please Stop Bullying.
Being alone in the current COVID-19 Pandemic Lockdown, has never felt so lonely before. Many people's mental health has been severely affected by the lockdown, even those who believed they would be able to stay strong throughout the lockdown.

An Intro Into My Life
Let me first of by saying who I am and where I came from. I live in Chicago and was born and raised there. I am 22 years old going on 23 on June 13th. I graduated high school my junior year and went straight to college. I went to college for nursing and got my nursing assistant license and decided to drop out after and go to hair school. I went to Tricoci University of Beauty culture and got my cosmetologist license. I have been doing hair for about 7 years now and I love it. Let me tell you on my tragedy of years that I went through in my life. When I was 11 years old I had my very surgery which was a removal of left ovarian cyst. Before that surgery I went through so much pain and suffering where I had to miss school. I had 3 more surgeries after that the other surgery was the same one I had when I was 11. I ended up growing another big cyst in the same ovary, then I had median arcute ligament surgery which had to do with my celiac artery it was compressed, its a very rare condition and the last surgery I had was a gallbladder removal. When I was 15 on my birthday I got into the worst car accident of my life I was the passenger. It was so bad I fractured my neck and almost got paralyzed. I also had slipped disc in my back and had to learn how to walk again and that recovery took months. I will write a whole story about that in my next story. I been through hell and back in my life I was raped at age 16 and tried to kill my self and ended up in a mental hospital because my sister saved my life. That is another story I will upload on here. I was in a very abusive relationship and would get hit for no reason. He broke my nose and my face would always be bruised. I dealt with that for more than 7 years. I been abused physically, mentally and emotionally. That is another story I will share like I said this is just an introduction on what I been through in my life. I also fell into the wrong crowd and ended up in prison for a year for something I didn't do. When I say I been through it all I mean it. I currently am going through a divorce because I married the wrong guy and regret it I wish I listened to my parents. Biggest mistake of my life he was the devil and a con artist. As of now I am trying to better my life and focus on me. I am still healing from my traumas and adjusting to it. I have a long journey to go but just know you guys aren't alone ! Also stay tuned in because I have many stories of each thing I described in this introduction of my life. I hope it will help others who went through what I went through in my life. I also have a lot of knowledge and give amazing advice so don't hesitate to ask! I am a very loving and caring person just trying to help others and hope to inspire you guys ! Stay tuned in and I will try my best to write these stories within a good time frame and bare with me I am new to this site!

Everyday Heroes
As humans we have a tendency to do anything to save ourselves; to survive or adapt to our surroundings. No one fights for their lives until it's threatened. Who's to say we can't fight for others in the same way we would fight for ourselves? During pandemic I saw many people panic to find means of survival in the comfort of their own homes. How they ran out of basic necessities for the greed of someone else. People have been trying to take care of themselves first, forgetting that we live in one planet and the only reason we have made it as far as we have is with people coming together and helping. We saw what great kindness people can be possessed with having when it comes to times in need.

Times Change
Have you ever just stopped and taken an look at your life now? Are you where you thought you'd be? Is your life the way you'd pictured it? Are you who you thought you'd be? I will admit it is scary to think of yourself as old or older. Sometimes even a little depressing.

The destruction of cultural identity in the UK
Cultural assimilation can be described as the process by which ethnic minorities and cultures assume the values of the dominant group in society. As an African girl who has lived in the United Kingdom for sixteen years, I admit to never having known the phrase cultural assimilation. However, I could feel it. It was so evident in society and within my own home that the culture that my parents cherished so much was being watered down as it passed from their generation to mine. What I never seemed to understand, and what I still don't seem to understand, is why this phenomenon seems to happen almost naturally.

What Coming of Age Films Don’t Know
Coming of age films never get it right. The teenage experience isn’t a music video, or even the fucking American dream. The shots of us speeding down highways in borrowed cars, the roof off and our hands in the air, screaming joyfully against the wind to Heroes by David Bowie, isn’t what it’s all about.

Competition time!
Hiya everyone, how's everyone doing today? Please find ways of interracting, I do love meeting new people from all sorts of different circumstances and walks of life. Does anyone else work from home? If so, what do you do? Did you do this pre-lockdown or post? Has working online become more important for you since lockdown? Will you still do this post lock down? If this is something you've only started doing post lockdown, how do you think your business will fair after lock down has finished, will it be better or worse for you do you think? If you're going back to your normal job, will this continue to be from home, or will you go back to an office? I heard almost one million jobs have been or will be lost so far due to the fact companies are now going to contine working and getting employees to work from home, realising how this can be cost effective, why pay all the overheads of an office building if you can save a few thousand by having these employees do the exact same job, with little to no disadvantages from their own home, plus it also helps those people that can't get out the house through disability issues, learning or health issues, maternity or paternity leave etc. they may not be able to work offline, but could be some of the best people you could hire to work online.
