Do Not Fall for Jail House Talk
My off and on again boyfriend admitted to me on our first visit after he went to jail that he loved me and that he was sorry he had not told me how he really felt before then. He released his property to me and asked to make sure we had phone time and he could get commissary. I took care of his finances and made sure he had everything he needed. He left the rest of his money with me so I would be ok, the next 2 months I had done the same. I even went beyond as to visit every other day for 2 1/2 months and him asking me to marry him (I said yes) as soon as he got out. Well, he gets released, the first day he was glad to see me and we had a good day. The next day he wakes up sick, and grumpy with an intense headache.

We had been in the same class all year, but for some reason, on that particular afternoon I looked over my left shoulder to the back row of the lecture hall, and my gaze automatically landed on him. His dimples accentuated, his forearms resting on the desk in front of him with his checkered button-down shirt sleeves just slightly rolled up. "He is cute," was the only thought in my mind. In Front of The Help.
The first time I felt superior towards someone was while working a summer job at the local Target. My cashier’s job gave me enough pocket money to buy too many cups of coffee at the nearby gas station, a pack of cigarettes per day and gas for my scooter. I was quite young and very insecure. Our boss was a severe, angry man who would scold anyone he could corner and he’d start every day by yelling at his employees. It was like any other morning at the store. I had been working there for a bit over a month. During my second month there, our boss hired a few new summer employees just like me. I sat at the cashiers chair and the customers kept lining up. People would sigh and tap their foot because it was taking me such a long time to figure out a missing price on a clay plant pot. With my shaky voice I called for help through the in-house speaker. No-one came to my rescue. I called for “Staff to cash register number 2” the second time and finally one of the new girls ran over to me. She was very beautiful with a long brown wavy hair and she was a few years older than I was. She smiled and sat down next to me and started ringing people up. The endless line of sulky, impatient people was gone in just a few moments. She was leaving and as she smiled at me I snapped at her: “Next time you better come the first time I call for you!”

I Believe in the Unsaid
We have all found those moments where we find ourselves either sitting staring at the wall hoping for the other person to say anything, anything at all, during a conversation. I have found myself in this instance almost on a daily basis. However, I have also found myself more capable of drawing conclusions about the environment around me. I expected my grandmother died after days of hospice when I saw the hearse roll by my high school after school one autumn evening. I also predicted future relations amongst my friends based on the aura and body language. With this skill, my 6th sense, I have found myself in a place of never ending the silence. Even if I knew I was right, society expects everything now to be kept quiet. One step over the line such as knowing another classmate's third-hour class, or remembering someone's birthday that isn't related to you could cost anyone the label of "stalker."
