Have you ever met someone and right off the bat felt such an immediate and deep connection to them as if you'd known them your entire life, as if you were sharing the same thoughts, the same feelings? Could it be that you knew the person in a past life or could it be that you're both tapping into the collective unconscious, famed Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung's concept of a universal unconsciousness shared by all humans? He posited that beneath our individualistic unconscious, there exists a universal unconsciousness based on shared human concepts. Might this explain how people from different corners of the world and walks of life can experience a collective longing for the same things at the same time?

'Discovery': Coldly Going Where No 'Star Trek' Has Gone Before
I guess you could say I'm a Trekkie. Although I've never dressed up like a Klingon or member of Star Fleet, nor attended a Star Trek convention, I have seen every non-animated movie and television episode ever made for the franchise. I've been a fan of at least the original series since childhood and have watched and will continue to watch a lot of Star Trek productions multiple times. I guess that makes me qualified to give my opinion of the newest installment, Star Trek: Discovery. To be frank, my opinion is not a particularly favorable one.

Once Upon a Time — Episode Three
The day after another exciting episode of Once Upon A Time. Yesterday the third episode in season seven was aired on ABC. Many fans were eagerly anticipating what this episode would hold, as in true Once Upon A Time fashion, the show's plot is beginning to pick up heat. More characters are being introduced and their stories are becoming entangled with the main plot. From the previews after the second episode, fans were treated with a glimpse of Princess Tiana from the Disney movie, The Princess and The Frog. Fans were eager to learn more about her story on the show and her connection with Cinderella. Tiana was not the only character to make an introduction in this episode. There were many new faces, such as the arrogant contractor and the mysterious woman that is being held captive within the city of Seattle by Cinderella's stepmother. With the introduction of new characters, fans also gained more insight on the already established characters. In this week's episode, fans discovered why Cinderella's stepmother is so wicked to her. Then when Cinderella was faced with a difficult decision, she received advice from an unlikely ally. Yet again, Once Upon Time offered it's fans an exciting new episode and left them with a lot to contemplate until next week. This article is going to touch on a few of those highlights and bring about some new questions for fans to ponder. Beware of spoilers in the upcoming paragraphs if you have not seen the show or caught up with the latest episodes.

Once Upon A Time
The ABC television show Once Upon A Time, about fairytales characters trapped in the real world, puts a new spin on the beloved stories we all grew up with. The story of Snow White took a spin when the ironically dainty princess was seen wielding a bow an arrow and knocked her Prince Charming out cold with a stone. The show quickly became famous for its interesting plot twists and unexpected characters. For the past six seasons the show has continually surprised fans by taking them to new worlds and inventing new curses for the characters to overcome, all the while keeping the show's main focus on family and hope. Now after six seasons the show is undergoing a reboot. Many of the main actors chose not to renew their contracts, leaving less than a handful of the cast to return for the seventh season. With that in mind the entire show faced a makeover. The setting, time and even the beloved characters themselves were all done over leaving the fans to speculate and theorize what the seventh season would hold.

British television is usually pretty easy to identify, as it comes with certain characteristics that make it inherently British. For one thing, the "series" are much shorter — between four and eight episodes typically — making for a much easier binge watching.
