Movie Review: 'Bad Samaritan'
To paraphrase the darkly brilliant Tropic Thunder, Never go full Nicholas Cage. This kind of advice should not be necessary; even if you are Nicholas Cage you likely should not go full Nicholas Cage at all times. The full Nicholas Cage is when an actor decides that a fully unhinged from any discernible reality performance is necessary. Poor David Tennant goes full Nicholas Cage in the new movie Bad Samaritan and demonstrates why my admonishment is necessary.

My Little Over-Analysis of 'Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters' Part 3: Episode 2 'The Gauntlet Is Thrown'
As the pilot episode did what any proper opening move should do and simply let us settle into the world, this second one in turn does what any good follow-up should: it goes and unsettles that world for both us and the characters. More importantly, it does it in style, as the show's first main antagonist—the one and only Maximillion Pegasus—takes the centre stage and properly kicks season 1 in motion.

Avengers: Infinity War Review (Spoiler Edition)
For the past 10 years, Marvel has come to dominate cinema and completely transform superhero movies as we know them. They have managed to build an entire universe within a set of 19 movies. When you consider that each of these movies tie into each other with the most intricate of details in a way that combines for one cohesive narrative, only then will you realise the scale that Marvel's movies have reached, and no movie emphasizes that more than their latest blockbuster, Infinity War.

Movie Review: 'Overboard'
Kate (Anna Faris) is a struggling single mom who works two jobs while raising three daughters. She’s also attending night school to become a nurse. Things take a turn for the worse when Kate is hired to clean carpets aboard a boat belonging to the billionaire playboy son of a construction magnate, Leonardo (Eugenio Derbez). When the billionaire asks Kate to get him a snack, she says no and he pushes her off his boat and destroys her cleaning equipment.

'Aggretsuko' Is a Fabulous Anime
When I first watched Aggretsuko, I was taken away by all the cuteness, humorous images, and how much I could relate to the characters. I was like, Retsuko is an epic death metal cat! Then I watched it again and said, hang on a minute! Retsuko's not a cat, she's a red panda. So then I was like, Retsuko is an epic death metal red panda!

Movie Review: 'Tully'
Tully is a miraculous creation. Jason Reitman and writer Diablo Cody have crafted a movie so smart, sensitive, funny and daring that I am amazed it exists and isn’t a complete disaster. A simple story about a put upon mother becomes a taut examination of mental health and motherhood in a way you may be able to predict but you will still be very entertained by.

'Griff the Invisible': A Film Review
I want to shed a little light on a rare gem my wife found at the dollar store the other day, and if you’ve not heard of it, don’t worry, because by its very name, it doesn’t get a lot of notice. I am talking about the 2010 film Griff the Invisible.

'Rampage' Review
((This review may contain minor spoilers. While I try not to reveal more than the previews, I do not always succeed.)) It is no secret that I am a HUGE fan of the Rock, so when I saw it was time for his next movie, Rampage, to come out, I was ready to go.

Well, we are barely a week since the launch of The Avengers: Infinity War and Marvel Studios are already biting at the bit to tell us more about their next installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And, quite surprisingly, it is Ant-Man and the Wasp.

'Avengers: Infinity War'—Review
It's nigh-on impossible to understate just how much is riding on Infinity War. Fans have followed the Marvel Cinematic Universe across 19 movies for the last ten years. Everything that's come before has led to this. I had become increasingly concerned just before release that a movie of this scale could quite easily collapse under its own weight, though I now know this wasn't the case. Not only have the Russo Brothers met the ridiculously high fan expectations, they've exceeded them and created something truly spectacular.
