Ten Great Documentaries to Watch on Netflix
As much as I love my silent films, as much as I love my golden age cinema, I also adore Netflix just like a lot of other people. I tend to use Netflix for watching Netflix original content such as crime shows, documentaries etc. Whereas, I use Amazon Prime to actually watch old movies I come across which have not yet been restored and I think that is adorable. Anyways, documentaries on Netflix become fairly popular and I, for the past few weeks, have been doing so much digging into these that I may need a few weeks off - turn back to my silent films - and just switch Netflix off for a while.

Movies That Could Help You Get Through Your Hangovers. Top Story - March 2021.
It’s a Saturday afternoon. You have rummaged through the vodka bottles in your apartment the night before. The drinking games, shot glasses, and beer cans are stacked in the center of the living room. There’s enough evidence to suggest that the residents of this home have a hangover. In the case of hangovers, you’re looking for comfort, low-lit rooms, resolution from your headache, and your aching body wants to lie around for days on end. So what’s the best friend to a hungover twenty-something year old? That’s right; movies!

10 Films I Refuse To Watch
After seeing the backlash Sia got for her film, Music inspired me to make of list of films that I refuse to watch. Some of these are trilogies and if there’s two or more films from the same series, I’ll put them in as one to prevent clogging. I have a subscription with Netflix. At one point, I had Now TV and Crunchyroll, but I cancelled them to save money. It only made sense to have one and it seemed pointless to have lots of streaming subscriptions just to watch one film or a series. I do share my account with my mum, aunt and friends and they do use it more than me. Netflix has so much choice, but once in a while it will reccomend me stuff that I know I’m not going to watch.

11 Movies I Pretend to be Familiar With
There are a lot of movies widely considered classics by the public at large. I want to talk about these, except from the perspective of someone who has never seen them. It's not that I disagree with them being considered classic, it's that I didn't see them growing up, and still haven't gotten around to it because I'm busy re-watching Shrek. So I go on about my life and when they come up in conversation, I make vague comments and participate solely based off Wikipedia research and memes. Each title includes a photograph from Unsplash that represents what the named movie is about in my mind.

2021 Movies I'm Excited to Watch
So there’s a bunch of movies that are set to be released sometime this year and I thought it would be fun to rank them in order of my excitement. This isn’t any official rankings, it’s just something that I wanted to do and thought it’d make an entertaining read as well. I love watching movies and after the last year where we barely had any new releases, I cannot wait to watch some new stuff. Without further ado let’s get into it.

Lights, Camera, Netflix!
So, it’s Saturday night and you’re loving SNL and its quirky comedy vibe. You worship the light-hearted girly comedies like The Proposal and Miss Congeniality but want something a little more outrageously funny. Bridesmaids is hilarious, goofy and can give you enough cringy ‘you wouldn’t really do that at a dress fitting’ moments to put you off tying the knot for life! Kristen Wiig sold that movie as the jealous disaster- bound bridesmaid, and now you’ve seen a snippet of Melissa McCarthy as the butch dog-thief you want more.

Five Reasons Why Netflix Should Revive Their Zombie Comedy, Daybreak
In late 2019, me and my housemate found ourselves in a familiar situation. Tired, bored, and half-heartedly scrolling through Netflix in search of something we both might enjoy. Among the shows and films we’d already watched, we spotted a series we’d never seen before. A post-apocalyptic zombie comedy, Daybreak, that had received little advertisement and, as far as we could tell, almost no attention. Intrigued, we started watching. A few days and ten episodes later, we sat thrilled by the finale and eagerly looked up how long we’d have to wait before we got to enjoy season 2, only to find that the show had already been unceremoniously cancelled.

Movie Quotes to Get You Through Your Day Job
Most people do not get to do their dream job. That is the reality of our society. So most of us have a day job that pays the bills, feeds the family and pays the rent that does not fulfill us. Some lucky people have a side hustle and some even luckier ones are able to turn that into a career.

So you liked Star Wars? Here's 5 More Awesome Film series to help keep you Entertained in 2021.
So you've just binged all of the Star War's films (guilty) and now you're in silent agony, with nothing new to watch. You might have liked the story and music of the originals, the characters and action of the prequels and the cinematography and acting of the sequels, but the sci-fi elements? Maybe not so much. And that's ok! As a big fan of both Star Wars and Science Fiction, they can seem pretty similar or, at least, hard to tell apart but this surprisingly isn't the case.
