I Just Can't Get Enough Of 'One Tree Hill'
My guilty pleasure binge-watching addiction is with One Tree Hill. I just can't get enough of those Scott brothers. I have watched this show probably ten times now seasons 1-9 in its entirety, if not more.

Today is the day! I have my popcorn, my chips, and candy. Oh yeah, my ginger ale. Laying down in this bed eating is going to put some serious gas on my chest. I turn my television on waiting and ready. I look at my candles on the table allowing me the peace and serenity I need to binge-watch my sisters on their journey. I'm the missing piece. ATLA-The Boy in the Iceberg and The Girl in Quarantine
I was 13 when Avatar: The Last Airbender became the relatable bridge from Pokemon and Sailor Moon into what would later be a full-fledged anime phase in high school. I told myself I was done with cartoons because I was advancing quickly into adulthood yet had no other metric to prove this to my non-existent friends. However, in June of the same year, my mother and I decided to move to Los Angeles from Nashville, Tennessee. Needless to say, it was quite the culture shock, so I retreated into a saving grace to be blessed with a narrative rife with complex, stimulating themes that were more than simple set-ups of kids trying to get a jawbreaker (sorry, Ed, Edd, and Eddy) with elegant animation.

Undercover Robot Lover
Television is a language. It connects us in ways that are hard to relate into words. You sit there on a date. You ask what shows they watch. You go and visit your family. You ask what shows they’re into these days. You have an interview. You ask what shows are in the que… most people are fairly honest. They go with the safe shows, the shows that they know they can’t be judged on because everyone else watches it. The Office. Seinfeld. Bridgerton. GOT. The Real Housewives, duh. Generally, television is a window into who another person is and we pride ourselves on figuring out others based on their entertainment preferences. But, like with all things, truth is in perception. I can be perceived as smart if I say I watch Jeopardy. Cute if I watch sitcoms like That 70’s Show. In tune if I (God forbid) watch The Bachelor. Even geek chic if I claim I watch Attack on Titan.

A Happy Beginning : Another Guilty Pleasure
Of all the shows that I have ever binge watched on Netflix, there is one that I have watched so many times that I can almost recite the script. Once Upon a Time, the new age spin on just about anything and everything Disney, has captivated my attention and heart for more self indulgent unproductive hours than I care to admit. It's embarassing to admit how its emotional love stories and satisfying character arcs have often caused my eyes to glaze over as I find myself empathizing with the many different villains and rooting for the unlikely heroes.

My closet soap addiction
I can't believe I'm about to admit this, but why not? Here it goes. I love Days of our Lives and I have for over twenty years. Go ahead and laugh, giggle, snicker, or whatever else floats your boat. I can't help it. From the days of setting programs on the VCR to record it while I was in high school, to watching it on Sprint TV when I didn't have cable, to streaming it from Peacock as I do now, the show has long since been a welcome escape from a stressful reality.

My strange addiction: reality TV shows
You know that feeling you get when a nicely wrapped package arrives on your doorstep? The yay it's for me feeling? That's how I feel when I log into hayu and there is a new episode of any one of my favourite reality TV shows. You know that episode of My Strange Addiction when the creepy guy has an obsession with pulling hair out of drains? Sick, right? Well I imagine I get the same rush that he does when he has locked himself in the bathroom at a friend's place and pulled out a long, matted piece of hair when I see that not only is there a new episode of Southern Charm, there's also a new episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County and The Real Housewives of Dallas (to be honest this one is a stretch, but hey a girl's got to get her fix). I unashamedly LOVE trash TV. A dose of the vile and revolting antics of the cast of The Valleys? Yes please. A catch-up with Snooki and JWoww and her TMI confessions that she and her boyfriend never have sex? Sure, bring it on. Vanderpump Rules, Below Deck, Keeping Up With the Kardashians (not a favourite but a back-up when other options have been exhausted) Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club (that girl is nuts!), Ex on The Beach - they all make the cut. But my absolute go-to shows? I can't go past The Hills, The City and Siesta Key. I would be embarrassed to find out just how many hours I have spent binge-watching these shows (it's probably why the couch has a permanent indent from where I sit - LOL). My fiancee and I have watched each episode dozens and dozens of times. Hell, I could probably perform a one-woman show of each and every episode on demand.

Less Is (Gil)More
I look like that little viking figurine up top, more or less. I'm of German, Scottish, and Irish descent. I have light brown hair, the sides of my head are shaved, I have a large, mostly red, beard (that includes blonde, brown, and, recently, grey hairs), and I weigh 265 pounds. I didn't always look like this, but I do now, and I will take to my grave that Gilmore Girls is one of the best shows ever created.
