I Strongly Advocate for Tarkov's New AUG
One of the most exciting additions that come with new patches in Tarkov, are all the new guns and attachments that usually coincide with a new patch. Ideally, we get two or three new weapons; sometimes more, sometimes less. But patch 0.13 was a solid one for new weapons. The RSH-12, the ASH-12 revolver which is basically a pocket monster, the SR-2, a new potential rival to the MP7 in terms of the king of SMG’s. And my personal favorite this wipe, one that I have been waiting a long time ever since I learned it would make it to the game: the AUG. In fact, we got two versions of it: the A-1, and A-3 versions respectively. While I haven’t used the other two guns because I’m not high enough of a level to run them effectively, I have been all over the AUG; especially since I've hit Peacekeeper level 3. I was really curious how it would perform and what was available to customize on it. And overall, my thoughts are positive. Much better to say when compared to something like the G36 where it was very rough when it initially released. Either way, the AUG has really caught my attention and has been the primary gun in my hands whenever I get the chance to run it (I've been doing punisher so my gear options have been limited recently, but since getting to part 4 it’s been my go-to weapon for that part of shoreline.)

Covert Movement is Broken in Tarkov and it makes me Sad.
Since the beginning of patch 0.13, there were so many changes and additions to Tarkov, it was difficult to keep track of everything new and different. Obviously, one of the biggest things that was added was Streets. A brand-new map will always be exciting, regardless of what the map is or what the goals are for the player to experience while in the map. But one other thing was changed, that has had an overall massive impact on the gameplay experience within Tarkov, and it’s the audio. The removal of Steam audio, and its new replacement of Oculus audio has been somewhat of a trepidatious adventure for Tarkov as a whole. We really didn’t know how good we had it until they give you something that’s so... so much worse. I can’t think of a time where Tarkov’s audio was this atrocious. And for once, the community at large agrees with this sentiment; we all want steam audio and Tarkov’s old base audio system back if this is what we are going to be stuck with. Now, I’m sure that BSG knows how bad the situation is, but the fact we haven’t heard them acknowledge it in any capacity as far as I am aware of, speaks volumes about how in the dark we actually are with these kinds of things. But if it wasn’t bad enough that audio in general is scuffed beyond belief, specifically, covert movement in the game as of patch 0.13 is fundamentally broken, and it’s extremely unfortunate.

What Happened to Interchange in Escape From Tarkov?
Over a year ago, I made a video talking about my personal reasons as to why I believed Interchange was the hardest map in the Tarkov, at that time. Since then, a lot has changed. We got two additional maps, and the overall game experience has changed drastically. And with the recent wipe, the need to go back to Interchange has risen. I say need and not want because let’s be real, a lot of us do NOT want to play on that map. The poor lighting, overall visibility, and clusters of areas where the pvp occurs, makes it really not feel good to play and enjoy. But again, that sentiment is old, and the question rises once again; is Interchange fun to play? The short answer... No. Not at all. In fact, it’s worse than it’s ever been. Marred by more issues than it was previously, and an overall shift in how people interact with the map has made it bottom of the barrel. Somehow, I’d rather play Lighthouse and that is saying something.

I have some thoughts. Big surprise, as that is the basis for everything I’ve ever written.
