Prologue

A midst the hustle and bustle of modern Seoul, there is something beyond the boundaries of time and reality, something hidden behind the glittering city lights and the hustle and bustle of nightlife. Do Min-joon, a handsome man with a quiet and mysterious charm, has walked among humans for hundreds of years, watching history unfold and the hidden secrets of the human world revealed. Min-joon is no ordinary human—he comes from another planet, stranded on Earth since the Joseon era. Caught between a world that no longer belongs to him and a human life he has never fully understood, Min-joon is forced to adapt, waiting for the right time to return to his place.

But behind the calmness that appears on his face, there is anxiety and emptiness that continues to haunt him. Min-joon has lived his life with great caution, keeping his distance from attachments that will only bring heartache when he finally has to leave. Until one day, everything changes when he meets Cheon Song-yi, a famous actress whose life is full of the spotlight, but has the same loneliness inside her.

Song-yi is the opposite of Min-joon. In front of him, Song-yi is a light—bright, cheerful, and unpredictable. Although she is sometimes reckless and tends to be troublesome, Song-yi has a warmth that touches Min-joon's heart and shakes his rigid principles of life. Min-joon tries to reject the feelings that grow in his heart, realizing how dangerous their relationship is, especially with the secret he keeps. But over time, the power of their love is able to overcome all obstacles, erasing the gap of time and space that separates them.

However, their happiness does not last long. As Min-joon grows closer to Song-yi, the shadows of their dark past begin to threaten. A man named Hyung-wook, who holds a deep grudge, appears in their lives, bringing with him a dangerous threat. Their encounter with Hyung-wook forces Min-joon and Song-yi to face dangerous situations, proving that their love is not just a feeling, but also a power that transcends time and worlds.

On this journey, Min-joon and Song-yi must face a big dilemma: fight for their love or give it up for each other's safety. In the midst of the struggle between love and justice, they learn that sometimes, the price of happiness is sacrifice, and only with courage and sincerity, true love will find its way to survive.

Chapter 1: Fated Meeting

Do Min-joon stands on the balcony of his high-rise apartment, gazing up at the night sky filled with stars. For him, looking up at the sky is a constant reminder that his home is not here, on Earth. He comes from a galaxy far, far away, a place that now feels like a vague memory after four hundred years on Earth. This long wait was not meant to be—he had hoped to return after a few years, but an unexpected event forced him to stay longer than he expected. Now, with the little time left, Do Min-joon feels caught between his desire to return and his longing for the familiar Earth.

In fact, there was nothing that could keep him here. He avoided humans as much as possible, living a simple and low-key life. Do Min-joon had seen many changes on earth—changes in culture, technology, and even the ever-changing lifestyles of humans. With his vast knowledge and extraordinary power, he always tried to keep a low profile. It was all to maintain the balance between his existence and the fragile human world.

That night, while completing some academic work as a history professor at a university, he did not realize that his quiet life was about to fall apart. In a short time, fate would bring him together with someone he never expected, someone who would shake up his entire world.

Night of the Incident

Cheon Song-yi walks quickly with her head down, trying to hide her face behind the wide-brimmed hat she is wearing. The paparazzi cameras seem to be chasing her, capturing her every step. Being a top actress is certainly not easy. Song-yi, with her fiery personality, is often involved in controversies. However, behind that, she has a deep sense of loneliness—trapped in a world of pretense and alienation.

After attending a glamorous night out, she was tired of all the glitz and excessive attention. All she wanted was some peace. However, peace was a rare thing in her life as a famous actress. Taking a deep breath, she walked out of the building at a fast pace, trying to avoid the camera spotlight.

“Song-yi! Song-yi! Look here!” shouted the photographers who kept crowding her.

Song-yi runs into a narrow alley to avoid the crowd, but as she is about to walk down the small road, her steps are stopped by someone standing at the end of the road—Do Min-joon.

Min-joon, who happened to be in the area to avoid the crowd, looked at the woman with a blank stare. He didn't know her, but his human curiosity was aroused when he saw how frightened and anxious Song-yi looked. She tried to hide her face, but her aura was too obvious.

“Sorry… can I take shelter here for a moment?” Song-yi asked, her eyes pleading with hope.

Min-joon pauses for a moment, weighing the risks involved. But without saying anything, he shifts his body to make room for Song-yi. She moves behind his back and peers over his shoulder. Despite her calm posture, Min-joon feels as if he has just opened the door to a fate he did not want.

Song-yi breathed a sigh of relief, but a moment later she realized how strange the man in front of her was. “Thank you…” she said in a low voice.

“No problem,” Min-joon replies simply, his voice calm and low. Song-yi feels a different kind of calmness about this man, something that makes her feel safe, even though they’ve only just met. She wants to ask more, but the photographer is starting to approach.

Min-joon, with one swift movement, pulls Song-yi into the dark shadows of the alley, keeping them both hidden from view. He has the ability to move faster than a normal human, and in a situation like this, he only needs to use his abilities a little to avoid being caught.

Song-yi was shocked, but couldn't hide her amazement. "You... how can you move so fast?" she asked in surprise.

Min-joon just shrugged, not wanting to explain further. “Just a coincidence,” he said simply.

However, in Song-yi’s eyes, this man was a new and interesting mystery. This brief encounter had instilled a sense of curiosity in her. She had never felt like anyone cared about her like this. Everyone was always trying to get close to her for fame or profit. But this man… seemed to just want to get away from her.

A Life Apart

After that night, Song-yi returns to her normal life as an actress, but the shadow of the mysterious man continues to haunt her mind. On several occasions, she tries to find out more about the man who helped her, but Min-joon always manages to elude her attention.

On the other hand, Min-joon feels that meeting Song-yi was a mistake. For an alien who tries to remain invisible, too much interaction with humans will only cause problems. However, without him realizing it, Song-yi has become part of his monotonous routine. Every time he sees her on the television screen, there is an inexplicable urge in his heart to keep paying attention to her.

In the lecture he teaches, Min-joon is surprised to see Song-yi come as a guest student, sitting in the front row with a confident face. Without further ado, Song-yi looks at him and smiles widely, as if to say that she won't let Min-joon forget her so easily.

“We’ve met before, haven’t we?” Song-yi asked with a knowing smile, even though she was already sure of the answer.

The usually calm Min-joon suddenly felt cornered. How could this woman be so stubborn? “Yeah, maybe,” he answered simply, hoping Song-yi would quickly forget about it.

But Song-yi just smiled wider. “Okay, then I’ll come to this class often, Professor.”

Min-joon realizes at once that his encounter with Song-yi will not end there. This woman has an energy that is hard for him to resist, a sincerity that is bold and unaffected by boundaries. Inside him, he begins to feel something foreign—a feeling he has suppressed for a long time, perhaps since he first came to earth. There is something about Song-yi that reminds him of human intimacy, something he has tried to avoid all this time.

Do Min-joon stood on the balcony with a blank stare that did not look away from the sky. Amidst the expanse of stars, he felt something was missing. Something that he had never really realized but often echoed inside him. Even though he had many extraordinary abilities that set him apart from ordinary humans—such as sharp vision, healing abilities, and super strength—he still could not understand the feelings that began to rage in his heart.

The Long Journey of Life

Four hundred years on earth have given him time to witness all the changes in human civilization. From the industrial revolution to the world wars, Min-joon has seen the fragility and resilience of humans in the face of life. But despite his vast knowledge and insight, he never allows himself to get too involved. Observing humans is enough for him; whenever he gets too close, he only gets pain and loss.

Min-joon realizes that his life on earth is just a stopover, not a destination. His task is simple: to observe without getting involved, to learn without letting himself be carried away by emotion. But who would have thought that the woman he met that night would disrupt all the principles he had held so firmly for so long.

The Unpredictable Cheon Song-yi

A few days after their brief encounter, Min-joon thought Cheon Song-yi would forget about the incident, but he was wrong. She was more curious than he thought, and her determination to see him again was strong. Song-yi, an actress known for her stubborn and reckless personality, turned out to have a curiosity that was hard to quell. Their brief encounter left a mark on her heart—a moment she could not forget, as if there was a mysterious attraction connecting her to him.

Behind the scenes of her glamorous life, Song-yi feels that her meeting with Min-joon gives her hope for something different. The entertainment world that she has been in for years has given her many achievements and popularity, but also a lot of loneliness. Her life has always been filled with the spotlight, close scrutiny, and high expectations that weigh on her. But behind all that, she is just a woman who longs for honesty and freedom.

That night, when she meets Min-joon who acts coldly and seemingly indifferent to her, Song-yi feels compelled to get to know him better. She has never felt anything like this before—an attraction rooted in mystery, not fame or physical attraction. He saved her, but he seemed so reluctant to get involved afterward. The more she thinks back to that moment, the more she feels that Do Min-joon is no ordinary person.

Continued Meeting Night

That day, Song-yi decides to attend Min-joon’s class without prior notice. With quick, confident strides, she enters the lecture hall filled with students. All eyes are on her, admiring the star’s presence. Song-yi doesn’t care—she just wants to make sure Min-joon knows that she won’t give up so easily.

As she sat in the front row, Min-joon, who was teaching, immediately noticed her presence. His face remained calm, but his heart was slightly shaken. He didn't expect her to follow him all the way to the lecture hall. All the feelings he had been hiding began to surface. Min-joon quickly controlled himself, hoping that Song-yi wouldn't notice the subtle changes on his face.

After class, Song-yi approaches Min-joon with a cheerful smile. “So you’re really a professor? That’s amazing,” she says, looking at him with admiration.

Min-joon takes a deep breath. He knows that the longer he allows himself to interact with Song-yi, the harder it will be to keep his distance. “Can I help you?” he asks flatly, hoping she will leave soon.

But Song-yi just smiled wider. “I just wanted to say thank you for your help back then. You know, not everyone is willing to save an actress who’s trapped in a crowd.”

Min-joon was silent. Behind her cold demeanor, he felt something disturbing inside him—a strange feeling rooted in Song-yi’s small attention. Something he had been avoiding all this time, a fear of being tied to a human being. But seeing Song-yi’s smile, Min-joon felt that feeling grow stronger and harder to ignore.

“Don’t think too much about it. It was just a coincidence,” Min-joon said, trying to look away. “I’m not someone who usually helps others.”

Song-yi chuckled softly, even though she knew there was a bigger mystery behind this man. “You know? The people who claim not to care the most are usually the nicest ones.”

Min-joon just shrugged, then walked away from Song-yi. But after a few steps, he paused and thought for a moment about Song-yi's words. There was truth in her words, but he couldn't admit it openly.

Behind him, Song-yi stares at Min-joon’s retreating back. Even though they’ve only met for a short time, her heart is pounding. She knows that this man is different from anyone else she’s ever met, and as time goes on, that curiosity turns into an uncontrollable attraction. Song-yi smiles a little, determined that this won’t be the end of their encounters.

The Growing Storm of Emotions

For Do Min-joon, this encounter is an unavoidable dilemma. He has tried so hard to keep his distance, to avoid dangerous human emotions. But seeing how easily Song-yi has entered his life, he feels something different—a desire to stay involved, even though he knows it will only bring suffering in the future.

In the following days, the two of them continue to meet in unintentional ways. It's like a magnet pulling them both into situations that are hard to avoid. Each encounter makes them more connected, both emotionally and mentally. Slowly, Song-yi's presence begins to fill the emptiness in Min-joon's heart, but he continues to try to ignore it. For him, love is just an illusion, something that is not comparable to the harsh reality that he has to live.

However, for Song-yi, this meeting is the beginning of a new feeling. She begins to feel something different about herself every time she sees Min-joon. This man might be the biggest puzzle she has ever encountered. On one hand, she wants to know more about Min-joon, but on the other hand, she knows that this feeling could bring her suffering that she never imagined.

Chapter 2: The Inevitable Attraction

Do Min-joon tries to live his quiet and controlled life again. He thinks that his attraction to Cheon Song-yi is temporary, a human reaction that can be overcome with time. However, as the days go by, Song-yi's presence begins to creep into his mind. No matter how hard he tries to distance himself, Song-yi's shadow continues to haunt him.

Memories that Bring Pain

That morning, Min-joon sits in his study, surrounded by old books and historical manuscripts. His hand holds a book he acquired centuries ago, but his mind is not on the pages he is reading. A glimpse of Song-yi’s face flashes by, reminding him of someone he met when he first arrived on earth. Back then, in the 1600s, he met a young woman who had a smile that warmed his heart, just like Song-yi’s. She was the first person to give him human affection, but her tragic death was also the reason Min-joon built an emotional wall for centuries.

Now, hundreds of years later, he finds himself trapped in the same feelings again. Although he tries to convince himself that Song-yi is just an ordinary person who has no influence on his life, he knows that it is a lie. Memories of the past and the pain he once experienced continue to haunt his heart, warning him that humans are weak and ephemeral creatures. But the more he thinks back, the clearer it becomes that Song-yi might be the exception.

Unexpected Closeness

Song-yi never gives up on finding out more about Min-joon. After the class she took with Min-joon, she becomes more curious about the mysterious man. One day, she boldly decides to visit Min-joon's apartment. Under the pretext of asking about the lesson, Song-yi knocks on his apartment door without warning.

Min-joon opens the door with a blank expression. He is not surprised to see Song-yi, but he maintains his distance. “What brings you here?” he asks in a calm, slightly cold tone.

Song-yi smiled brightly, even though she knew her presence was not warmly welcomed. “You always look so serious, Professor. I wanted to make sure you knew how to have fun,” she replied, entering the room without permission.

Min-joon is taken aback by Song-yi’s audacity, but he lets her in. Song-yi surveys the room in awe. Min-joon’s apartment is filled with antiques and a collection of books that appear to date from various periods of history. “Wow, you really do look like a man from the past,” she says with a smile.

“I respect history,” Min-joon replies curtly, watching Song-yi wander around.

Unknowingly, he enjoyed Song-yi's presence that enlivened the quiet atmosphere in his apartment. Although Song-yi kept talking and commenting on the things around her, Min-joon felt a strange peace. Like rain refreshing barren land, Song-yi's presence filled the emptiness that he had been ignoring.

“Professor,” Song-yi suddenly turned to him with a curious look. “You never told me about yourself. Where are you from? Where is your family?”

The question caught Min-joon off guard. He had managed to keep his identity hidden so far. But Song-yi’s question made him realize that he couldn’t keep lying. He had to choose between keeping his distance or letting Song-yi get to know him better.

“There are many things about me that you may find difficult to understand,” he replied in a firm tone.

Song-yi smiled knowingly. “I don’t mind hearing anything. I like mysterious people, you know?”

Behind those light words, Song-yi looked at him curiously, as if she wanted to understand all the secrets Min-joon was hiding. For the first time, Min-joon felt confused. He wanted to explain, but the fear of emotional involvement kept him silent.

Days Spent Together

After that visit, their meetings became more frequent. Min-joon realized that his efforts to keep his distance were getting harder. The two began to spend time together, whether in class, on campus, or even at Min-joon's apartment. For Song-yi, Min-joon's presence was a breath of fresh air amidst her busy schedule as an actress. She felt comfortable and unburdened when she was around him, as if Min-joon was the only person who saw her for who she was.

Meanwhile, Min-joon feels a growing attraction to Song-yi. But beneath that attraction, there is a constant worry that haunts him. Deep down, he knows that his feelings for Song-yi will only bring him trouble. Every day he spends with Song-yi makes him understand more about her nature—stubborn, cheerful, and spirited. Song-yi reminds him of his long-lost humanity.

One evening, as the two of them sit in the campus garden, Song-yi suddenly asks, “Do you ever feel lonely, Min-joon?”

The question took Min-joon by surprise. He looked up at the starry night sky and felt the silence he had been enjoying for so long. “I’m used to being alone,” he answered quietly.

“But don’t we all need someone?” Song-yi looks at Min-joon with empathy. “I often feel lonely, too, even though there are many people around me. Sometimes, I just want someone who can really understand me.”

Hearing Song-yi's words, Min-joon realizes that this woman is more fragile than she seems. Behind her smile and confident demeanor, there is a side that longs for genuine closeness. He feels that, perhaps, he can be the one to give Song-yi that comfort, even if only for a while.

Min-joon's Fear of the Future

Despite their growing closeness, Min-joon realizes that his time on Earth is running out. The spaceship he has been waiting for for four centuries is almost here. In a matter of months, he will leave Earth and return to his home planet. But every time he thinks about the separation, his heart feels heavy.

One night, as they were walking around the apartment, Min-joon suddenly stopped in his tracks. Song-yi, noticing his change in attitude, turned to him with a confused look. “What’s wrong?”

“Song-yi,” Min-joon sighed heavily, “Maybe there’s something you need to know about me.”

Song-yi is silent, waiting intently. Min-joon holds her hand tightly, feeling the need to tell her the truth. But his tongue feels numb. If he tells her the truth, he will most likely hurt Song-yi and ruin the bond they have formed.

“There’s nothing you need to know,” Min-joon finally said, releasing her hand and looking up at the night sky. “Just don’t get too close to me. I won’t be here long.”

Song-yi looked at him with a disappointed and slightly hurt look. “Why do you always try to push me away? Is it so hard to admit that maybe we have something special together?”

Min-joon avoids Song-yi’s gaze, trying to divert his feelings. “Song-yi, I just don’t want to involve you in something that will hurt you. My life is too complicated for you.”

But Song-yi doesn’t back down. She sticks by Min-joon’s side, knowing that he has a lot on his plate. “I don’t care how complicated your life is. I just want to be with someone who makes me feel alive. You may not realize it, but you’re the only one who makes me feel truly free.”

A Decision That Changed Destiny

Amidst the doubts and fears that plague him, Min-joon begins to consider fighting his own destiny. So far, he has always lived within the boundaries he has set, keeping his distance and never letting himself be hurt by human emotions. However, with Song-yi, he experiences a different life, full of colors and emotions that stir his heart.

Finally, with full awareness, Min-joon decides to live what is in front of his eyes. He knows that his time is limited, but he wants to make the most of every second he has left with Song-yi. They start to spend more time together, getting to know each other better and sharing their dreams and fears. Although the shadow of separation continues to haunt Min-joon, he feels that he is no longer alone.

But he also realizes that the closer he gets to Song-yi, the harder the separation will be. Every happiness he feels with her comes with a deeper pain. For him, this relationship is a big gamble that he has never made in his four centuries on earth.

Haunting Memories

Min-joon gazes at the night sky from his apartment balcony, trying to calm his troubled mind. In his head, memories from the past play like an endless movie loop. The figure of a woman from the past, with a warm smile and eyes full of innocence, continues to haunt him. Song-yi's presence only makes the image of the woman stronger, bringing back memories he has long suppressed.

The woman from his past, who he never forgot, has a smile similar to Song-yi's. Long ago, he promised himself to no longer let his heart be tied to humans, to keep his distance and stay within safe limits. However, Song-yi destroyed all the defenses he had built so far. With all her imperfections, Song-yi awakens long-lost feelings in him. Min-joon felt at a crossroads, between keeping his distance or allowing himself to be trapped in feelings that might end in hurt again.

Increasingly Intense Meetings

Day by day, Min-joon and Song-yi's encounters become more intense. Song-yi, with her unique and cheerful way, always manages to approach Min-joon, even though he often tries to stay away. However, every time he tries to avoid her, Song-yi always finds a way to come back into his life. For Song-yi, Min-joon is the only person who sees her as a human being, not as a famous actress who is chased by the public.

One evening, after spending time in the campus park, they sit on a bench overlooking a small lake. The cool, calm night air creates the perfect setting for a heart-to-heart talk. Song-yi gazes at the calm lake, then glances at Min-joon. “You know, Min-joon, I find life very strange. Sometimes, I don’t know who I really am.”

Min-joon turned to her with a serious look. “Why do you feel that way?”

Song-yi sighed, then smiled wryly. “The world only sees me as an actress, a beauty icon, or something unimportant. They don’t see who I really am, what I feel, or what I want in life.”

Min-joon listens intently, feeling connected to the feelings Song-yi is expressing. Even though he has a much bigger secret, he understands what Song-yi is feeling. How she too feels isolated from the world around her, always living outside the bounds of normality and never truly accepted for who she is.

“I understand,” Min-joon finally replied. “You may not believe it, but I often feel like I can’t be myself in this world. There are so many things I can’t express, and that makes me live in the shadows.”

Song-yi looked at him with a curious gaze. “Maybe we’re more alike than we think,” she murmured softly.

Feelings That Begin to Grow

Time passes, and Min-joon finds himself growing attached to Song-yi. Every time they meet, he feels a thrill he has never felt before, an emotion that is hard to explain. His heart flutters every time Song-yi smiles at him, and he can't help but want to protect her. Even though he knows that this relationship will only hurt him more in the end, he can't help but feel the growing feelings.

Min-joon remembers a moment when he saw Song-yi sleeping in the classroom after practicing hard. At that time, he just stared at Song-yi silently, watching her peaceful face as she slept soundly. There was something so fragile and beautiful about her sleeping figure, and he couldn't get the image out of his mind.

“If only I were a normal person…” he murmured softly, almost inaudibly. He felt that if he had a normal life like other people, maybe he could open his heart completely to Song-yi without worrying about all the secrets and boundaries he had been keeping.

Confusion in the Heart

But amidst the happiness he feels with Song-yi, Min-joon can’t shake the fear of the future. His time on Earth is running out, and the spaceship that will take him back to his home planet is almost here. What if he falls in love with Song-yi only to have to leave her? What if the breakup ends up destroying him and Song-yi?

His mind is filled with an increasingly difficult dilemma, and he begins to feel unsure whether his decision to stay close to Song-yi is the right one. However, every time he sees Song-yi, all of those fears seem to disappear, replaced by a warm feeling that fills his heart.

A Confession

One night, as they stroll along the Han River, Song-yi suddenly stops in her tracks and turns to look at Min-joon with eyes full of emotion. “Min-joon, there’s one thing I want to know. Why do you always look like you’re holding back? As if there’s something you’re really hiding.”

Min-joon pauses, trying to find the right words. He knows he can’t keep dodging Song-yi’s questions forever. But how can he explain his true identity without shocking her? How can he reveal that he’s not human, that he’s from a different world?

“There are many things about me that may be difficult for you to understand, Song-yi,” he finally answered, his tone calm but full of tension.

Song-yi approaches him and looks at him with tender eyes. “I don’t care how hard it is, Min-joon. I just want to know who you really are. You’re the only person who makes me feel alive, and I don’t want any secrets between us.”

Song-yi's words touch Min-joon's heart. He feels the urge to open up, to trust this woman completely. But he also realizes that the truth may be too much for Song-yi to bear.

The Decision to Walk Away

Min-joon eventually decides to distance himself from Song-yi, in order to protect her feelings. He feels that the closer they get, the more likely it is that Song-yi will get hurt when he has to leave. So, he starts to avoid meeting Song-yi, hoping that it will help ease the feelings that are growing between them.

However, the decision brought deep sadness to both of them. Song-yi felt betrayed, not understanding why Min-joon suddenly distanced himself without explanation. She felt a deep sense of loss, as if a part of her had just disappeared. Although she tried to find a reason to explain Min-joon's change in attitude, she could not find a satisfactory answer.

For Min-joon, the decision to walk away doesn't make his life any better. Every day he spends without Song-yi feels empty and meaningless. He realizes that even though he's lived for hundreds of years, Song-yi is the only person who makes him feel truly alive. The decision to walk away breaks his heart, and he begins to doubt whether he can live his life without Song-yi.

Unexpected Meeting

One night, when it was raining heavily, Min-joon accidentally met Song-yi at a small cafe. The two were stuck in an awkward silence, as if there was an invisible wall between them. Song-yi stared at him with a hurt look, not understanding why this man left her without any clear reason.

“Min-joon, am I that easy to forget?” she asked in a trembling voice.

Min-joon felt his heart rip apart at the question. He knew that there was nothing easy about this decision, but he felt that breaking up was best for both of them. However, seeing Song-yi's sad face made him doubt everything.

Slowly, Min-joon took a deep breath and said, “Song-yi, I never wanted to hurt you. There are many things I can’t explain, and I don’t want you to be trapped in a life full of secrets.”

Song-yi doesn’t accept that answer. “I don’t care about secrets or whatever. All I know is that I love you, Min-joon, and that’s enough for me.”

Those words made Min-joon’s heart tremble. He realized that Song-yi was sincere in her feelings, and he couldn’t hold back his love for her any longer. Gently, he held her hand and said, “I may not be able to explain everything, but I want you to know that I love you too, more than I can say.”

Chapter 3: Shadows of the Past

The relationship between Min-joon and Song-yi has deepened. Since the night of their confession at the cafe, the two have become more open with each other. Their days are filled with laughter, jokes, and little moments that make them feel alive. But in Min-joon’s mind, this love is not without its risks. With the limited time he has on earth and the secrets he keeps, he knows that one day he will have to face it—he will have to leave. Even so, he can’t help but want to be with Song-yi, as if every moment they spend together strengthens his resolve to stay by her side, no matter what.

The Unexpected Plan

Meanwhile, Song-yi, feeling a happiness she has never felt before, plans a surprise for Min-joon. She plans a short trip to a villa outside the city. With great enthusiasm, she contacts her manager and arranges a schedule so that this short vacation can happen. Song-yi wants to give Min-joon a special time and memories, even without fully understanding why she feels compelled to do so.

"I think we need a short vacation, huh. You always seem so serious, Min-joon! This is a chance to have some fun," Song-yi said with a smile.

Although Min-joon initially rejected the idea, Song-yi managed to persuade him with her sweet ways. In the end, Min-joon could not refuse the wishes of the woman he loved. They went to a villa surrounded by green trees and beautiful natural scenery. There, Min-joon was able to forget his worries for a moment and really enjoy the moments with Song-yi.

The Warmth That Makes You Forget

In the silence of the night, they sit together by a small campfire. Min-joon gently holds Song-yi's hand, feeling a rare warmth that fills the emptiness in his heart that has been there for centuries. As Song-yi gazes at the fire with a calm gaze, he speaks softly, "I feel like my life is no longer lonely and empty. You are the figure who came like a shooting star, mysterious but so bright."

Min-joon smiled faintly, though his heart was shaken by Song-yi's words. How could he possibly tell her that he was actually a complete stranger in this world? The secret of his origins had always made him hesitate, especially if one day Song-yi found out the real truth.

That night, Song-yi continues to talk about her simple dreams: living quietly, away from the spotlight, and enjoying the little things. Min-joon listens with a warm heart, admiring Song-yi's sincerity and simple dreams. But on the one hand, he realizes that Song-yi's wishes may never come true with him.

A Secret Revealed

At the villa, Min-joon thinks he can protect his secret better. However, one morning, Song-yi accidentally finds Min-joon using his abilities. She sees with her own eyes as Min-joon moves objects from a distance with just the power of his mind. Song-yi freezes in place, unable to believe what she has just witnessed.

"Min-joon... What did I just see?" Her voice trembled, filled with confusion and fear.

Min-joon stood there, realizing that he had nothing left to hide. He took a deep breath and looked at Song-yi with serious eyes. “Song-yi, I know this is hard to explain, but I have to tell you the truth. I am not from this world.”

Song-yi frowned, trying to make sense of what she was hearing. “You mean… not from this world?” she asked softly, trying to find an explanation.

Min-joon nodded slowly. “I come from another planet. To be more precise, I am an extraterrestrial being who came here hundreds of years ago. Since then, I have lived in the shadows, hiding from being detected by humans. My presence on earth was a mistake, and I have long awaited the opportunity to return home.”

Song-yi stares at Min-joon in disbelief, but she knows this isn’t just a joke. The serious look in Min-joon’s eyes and the unfamiliar words feel too real. She takes a deep breath, trying to process it all.

“So… all this time, you weren’t human? All of this… our closeness, everything… was that also a mistake?” Song-yi asked, her voice shaking with emotions that were hard to describe.

“No, Song-yi. It wasn’t a mistake,” Min-joon says, trying to convince himself as much as he’s trying to convince Song-yi. “I may not be human, but my feelings for you are very real. I know this is hard to accept, and I don’t blame you if you can’t accept the truth.”

Song-yi's Inner Conflict

For several days after the confession, Song-yi was in deep confusion. She felt as if her world had fallen apart in an instant. The person she had loved, the one she had trusted, had a secret she had never expected. Her heart was filled with mixed questions and feelings. Could she love someone who was not even from this world? What would their future be like if this was the reality?

Even so, when she looked into Min-joon's eyes, she felt that the love she felt had not changed. Although this truth was shocking and even frightening, Song-yi felt that she could not let go of Min-joon just like that. She felt that, behind all these secrets, there was a figure who had always made her feel whole and accepted. However, the shadow of separation could not be avoided.

Meeting with an Old Enemy

In the midst of their emotional struggle, a new threat emerges that further complicates the situation. A former government official who once spent part of his life chasing traces of aliens on earth managed to find Min-joon's whereabouts. The man, Lee Hyung-wook, is convinced that Min-joon is the alien he has been searching for. With the power and resources he has, he is determined to capture Min-joon to be used as research material for his own personal gain.

Hyung-wook begins by spying on Min-joon and Song-yi, gathering enough evidence to convince the government of the threat Min-joon poses. Unbeknownst to Min-joon, he is already on Hyung-wook's radar, ready to make his move at any moment. Although Song-yi is not yet aware of the danger that threatens them, Min-joon already smells suspicious movements around them.

Min-joon tries his best to protect Song-yi from this threat. But every time he thinks he has succeeded, Hyung-wook comes closer, as if he knows how to break through every defense Min-joon has built.

Escape Plan

Knowing that time is running out and danger is approaching, Min-joon finally decides to run away with Song-yi. He doesn't want to leave Song-yi in danger, even if it means dragging her along on a risky escape. On the other hand, Song-yi also feels that this is an opportunity to prove her love for Min-joon. She chooses to follow Min-joon, even though she knows that this might be the end of the life she has known so far.

On their journey, Min-joon and Song-yi share stories from their past that they have never told each other. Song-yi learns about the pain and loneliness that Min-joon has experienced for hundreds of years on earth. Min-joon, on the other hand, comes to understand more and more how precious Song-yi is in his life. In the midst of their escape, they find new strength in the love they share, despite the dangers that continue to lurk.

The Final Chapter is Approaching

By the end of this chapter, Hyung-wook is getting closer to catching them. Min-joon realizes that this escape may not last long, and he has a big choice to make: give up and leave Song-yi for her safety, or stay and face the possibility of losing his freedom forever. With a heavy heart, he prepares to make a decision that will determine both of their fates.

However, for Song-yi, her love for Min-joon is too deep to let go of. Even though she knows the risks she has to take, she feels that life without Min-joon is far more painful than anything that might happen in the future.

Days pass quickly, and Min-joon and Song-yi try to live their daily lives while avoiding Hyung-wook's attention. They return to Seoul with pounding hearts, and every step feels heavy with the shadows of the past lurking. Min-joon tries to create a normal routine, even though in his mind the worst possible scenario that could happen at any moment. He knows that his long life will never be the same once Song-yi finds out the truth about him.

An Inevitable Confrontation

One night, while the two were walking in the park near Song-yi's house, they accidentally overheard a conversation between some suspicious men. In the silence, they were able to catch a few key words that made Min-joon's heart beat faster.

“I’ve almost found his trail. If we can catch him, we’ll be able to get a big reward from the government,” one of the men said.

Min-joon grabs Song-yi’s hand, pulling her away from the voice. “We have to go. Now!” he cries, his face showing tension.

Song-yi looks at Min-joon, feeling the fear coming over them. “What happened, Min-joon? Who are they?”

“People who are trying to find out about me. They are people who will not hesitate to hurt us,” Min-joon replied in a serious tone.

They ran fast, moving from corner to corner, trying to avoid being tracked. Inside, Min-joon felt anxious. Would this all end badly? Should he leave Song-yi for their safety? These questions plagued his mind endlessly.

Finding a Safe Place

After a few days of hiding, Min-joon and Song-yi decide to find a safe place in the suburbs. They find a small, quiet house, far from the crowd, and this is where they can hide from the spotlight. Min-joon uses his ability to create the illusion that the house is empty, so that no one will suspect their presence.

In the house, they find a space to rest and talk. They begin to open up to each other about their deeper feelings.

“Min-joon, what are we going to do now? We can’t keep hiding like this forever,” Song-yi said, her voice full of doubt.

Min-joon looks at her with loving eyes. “I know, Song-yi. I want you to know that no matter what happens, I will always protect you. Maybe we can find a way to stop Hyung-wook. If we can find evidence of the crimes he committed, we can fight him.”

“And if we don’t succeed?” Song-yi asked, voice weak but determined.

“We will fight. We must fight, no matter what,” Min-joon replies in a firm voice. “Because I can’t imagine life without you.”

Painful Consciousness

As time passes, Song-yi increasingly realizes that living with Min-joon brings not only happiness, but also constant fear. She begins to feel guilty for involving Min-joon in her life. All the dreams she had of perfect love are now replaced by the shadow of threat.

One night, as Min-joon sleeps beside her, Song-yi gazes lovingly at his face. “Why did you have to go through all this?” she murmurs softly, tears streaming down her cheeks. “If I had known earlier, maybe I wouldn’t have approached you.”

Min-joon woke up to the sound of that soft voice. “Song-yi, don’t ever think like that. You are the light of my life, and I will never regret your presence,” he replied, though his heart was shaking with deep pain.

That night, they talk at length about their fears and hopes. Despite the difficult situation, they encourage each other. Min-joon whispers a promise to protect Song-yi, while Song-yi promises not to give up on their love. These moments become more and more precious to them, as if the time left is all that matters.

Plan Against the Enemy

In the midst of their despair, they plan their next move. Min-joon knows that they need to gather solid evidence on Hyung-wook. They decide to investigate the man further and find out about the organization he leads. In Min-joon's mind, there is a hope that if they can get to the truth, they might be able to change things.

They begin gathering information from various sources, including Min-joon's friends who have special abilities. Within a few days, they discover that Hyung-wook is not only an alien hunter, but is also involved in illegal practices that threaten many lives. Min-joon becomes even angrier knowing that Hyung-wook is not only hunting him, but is also a danger to others.

“If we can gather all this evidence, we can reveal everything he did to the public. This is our chance,” Min-joon says excitedly, while Song-yi listens intently.

Return to the Promising Ending

With a plan in place, they decide to go to Hyung-wook's office to investigate further. On the way to the location, Min-joon and Song-yi communicate secretly. They feel like two people fighting an invisible battle. In the car they rented, the atmosphere is tense. Every heartbeat feels noisy, and they know that this trip could end in great risk.

Once they arrive at the location, they feel very anxious. Hyung-wook has a strong security network, and they have to be very careful not to get caught. Min-joon uses his abilities to create a diversion, while Song-yi tries to find more information inside the building.

“Min-joon, I found some documents here. This could be the evidence we need,” Song-yi whispered, her face glowing with excitement at the promising information she found.

However, as they prepare to leave, they are suddenly surrounded by several men who work for Hyung-wook. Min-joon panics, but he quickly remembers all the training he has had over the years. He tries to protect Song-yi while looking for a way out.

“Min-joon, hurry!” Song-yi shouted as she saw the guards getting closer.

The Inevitable Fight

Min-joon stands in front of Song-yi, ready to fight. With his strength, he uses his ability to distract the guards. However, despite his best efforts, the number of opponents is too many.

“I won’t let them hurt you!” he shouted, trying to hold back the incoming attack.

Amidst the chaos, Song-yi felt anxious and scared. “Min-joon, don’t overdo it! We have to get out of here!”

After a fierce fight, Min-joon finally manages to protect Song-yi and create an opening to escape. They run fast, ignoring the pain and exhaustion. In the car, Song-yi stares at Min-joon, trying to understand what just happened.

“What are we going to do now?” Song-yi asked with a frightened face.

“There is no other choice, we have to report everything we find to the authorities. We can’t keep hiding like this,” Min-joon replied firmly.

On their way home, the two felt as if their world was spinning very fast. Although danger still lurked, new hope began to burn in their hearts. With stronger determination, they vowed to fight and face all that was to come, together.

A New Awareness

Finally, after going through various obstacles, Min-joon and Song-yi arrived at the police station. They explained everything they found and presented the evidence they had collected. When the officers heard their story, there was doubt on their faces, but Min-joon and Song-yi's seriousness made it impossible for them to just ignore it.

“If what you guys say is true, we need to investigate further. This could be a very big case,” a detective said, looking into Min-joon’s eyes with curiosity.

With new hope, Min-joon and Song-yi feel as if a weight has been lifted from their shoulders. However, they know that the struggle is not over. Outside, the sun is setting, casting a golden glow that signifies new hope. They realize that no matter how dark the path they must take, they will always walk side by side.

Their story has just begun, and they are ready to face any odds for the love that has brought them together. As they move forward, they will not only fight for freedom, but also for a true and unwavering love, against all odds.

Chapter 4: Traces of Justice

After giving their testimony and evidence to the authorities, Min-joon and Song-yi felt a little relieved. However, the realization that they were still in danger kept their hearts in suspense. Min-joon, despite his best efforts, felt a heavy burden still on his shoulders. For several days after their report, the atmosphere around them felt different.

The authorities begin investigating Hyung-wook's case, and Min-joon and Song-yi try to stay out of the spotlight. They know that Hyung-wook will definitely not stay silent and will find a way to get revenge.

Facing Uncertainty

Their nights are filled with anxiety and uncertainty. Min-joon and Song-yi live in a small house they rent in the suburbs, away from the public eye. They spend time together, trying to find happiness in the small moments. However, tension between them is inevitable. Min-joon feels guilty for putting Song-yi in danger and wants to protect her at all costs.

“Min-joon, what if they find us?” Song-yi asked, her voice shaking.

“I won’t let them hurt you, Song-yi. I’ll do whatever it takes to protect you,” Min-joon replied, trying to reassure them both.

That night, Min-joon looks up at the stars in the sky, missing the peace he felt before. He wants to end all of this and get their lives back on track. However, he knows that in order to do that, they have to face Hyung-wook and everyone who works for him.

Plans to Face the Enemy

A few days later, they receive news that the investigation into Hyung-wook is starting to bear fruit. The officers have found evidence that links Hyung-wook to a crime bigger than they could have imagined. Min-joon and Song-yi are invited to provide further information.

On the way to the police station, Min-joon is anxious. “What should we say? I don’t want to hurt anyone,” he says, gripping Song-yi’s hand tightly.

“Min-joon, we can’t let fear rule us. We have to talk about what we know,” Song-yi replied in a calm voice, though her heart was pounding.

At the police station, they are introduced to the detective leading the investigation. The detective looks serious, but there is tension on his face. “We believe we are on the right track, but we need more information about Hyung-wook’s ties to the criminal organization,” the detective says.

Min-joon and Song-yi tell everything they know about Hyung-wook and his company. They are the first to pave the way for the authorities to track down and uncover the crimes that have been hidden for so long. They know that they are not only fighting for themselves, but also to protect the people who are threatened by Hyung-wook.

Investigating the Truth

After giving their statements, Min-joon and Song-yi return to their home. They decide to investigate further about Hyung-wook, finding out who is involved in the crimes he committed. In their search, they discover that Hyung-wook has many connections with powerful people, and that not everyone around them can be trusted.

“Maybe we can dig deeper. I have a friend who can help us,” Song-yi said, remembering one of her friends who works in the media.

With renewed vigor, they contact Song-yi's best friend, and in no time, they gain access to several documents that show Hyung-wook's dark ties to a criminal organization. They feel as if they are getting closer to the truth, but also more and more entangled in danger.

The Lurking Threat

As they begin to get more clues, Min-joon feels the tension growing. One night, while they are reviewing documents, the lights suddenly go out, and the atmosphere becomes pitch black.

“Min-joon, something is wrong,” Song-yi whispered, frightened.

Min-joon felt his heart pounding. “Calm down, Song-yi. I’ll check,” he said, trying to control his fear.

He walked to the window and looked around. In the darkness, he could see shadows moving outside. “We have to get out of here,” he called, grabbing Song-yi’s hand and pulling her outside.

They leave the house and run to their car. As they run, Min-joon senses that they are being followed. Cold sweat runs down his back, and he knows that Hyung-wook will not let them get away with it.

Fight in the Dark

That night, they speed through the deserted streets, trying to avoid the trail of their pursuers. On the way, Min-joon decides to call the police and report their situation. “We’re being chased! We need help!” he shouts into the phone, his voice full of tension.

Song-yi looked at Min-joon, her face pale. “Min-joon, what will happen if they find us?”

“We won’t let that happen. We will fight, together,” Min-joon replied determinedly.

They turned into a quiet side street and tried to find a place to hide. However, as they entered the street, a suspicious car followed them. Min-joon felt his heart pounding. He knew that this was the decisive moment.

They decided to stop and fight. “We have to face them, Song-yi. This might be our only chance,” Min-joon said, taking a deep breath.

As they get out of the car, they see two men getting out of their car, looking dangerous and ready to attack. Min-joon prepares to protect Song-yi with all his might. “Don’t worry, I’m here with you,” he says, even though he feels scared.

The fight begins, and Min-joon uses his fighting skills to protect Song-yi. He fights with all his might, trying to hold off the men's attacks. Song-yi doesn't stay idle either; she grabs her bag and looks for a sharp object to defend herself.

Tensions are running high

In the midst of the fight, they both felt the tension rising. Although Min-joon fought bravely, the number of opponents was too many. In an instant, he was cornered and fell.

“Min-joon!” Song-yi shouted, seeing him fall. Without hesitation, she ran to help him.

“Don’t!” Min-joon shouted, trying to stop her.

However, Song-yi has already run and hits one of the men with her bag. The unexpected force knocks the man down, giving Min-joon a chance to get up and fight back.

Finally, with great teamwork, they managed to overpower the two men and escape into the car. As they sat in the driver's seat, their breaths were heavy.

“Min-joon, I can’t keep living like this. I’m scared!” Song-yi said, tears streaming down her cheeks.

Min-joon looks at her with affection. “Me too, but we can’t give up. We’ve come too far to back down. We’ll fight and find a way to end this,” he says with determination.

A Promising Ending

With renewed enthusiasm, they continued their journey towards the police headquarters. After everything they've been through, Min-joon and Song-yi feel stronger and closer to each other. They are not only fighting for themselves, but also for justice and a better future.

When they arrive at the police station, they know that their journey is not over. They must continue to fight against crime and make sure that Hyung-wook and everyone involved in the crime will get their just punishment.

With an unwavering spirit, they are determined to continue their struggle, together, facing every obstacle that comes their way. In their hearts, there is a belief that love and justice will always triumph in the end.

Chapter 5: Window to the Future

After a tense night, Min-joon and Song-yi walk into the police station with determined steps. They know that this is the final step towards the justice they long for. Inside the room, the atmosphere is calm but full of hope. They have gathered enough evidence to bring down Hyung-wook, and now it is time to take it one step further.

Meeting with Authorities

Min-joon and Song-yi are called to meet with the detective in charge of their case. The room is filled with documents and photos showing Hyung-wook’s ties to the criminal organization. The detective looks at them with respect, realizing how much risk they have taken.

“We have gathered enough evidence to file a case against Hyung-wook,” the detective said in a firm voice. “We will do our best to protect you during this process.”

Song-yi was relieved to hear the news. “Does that mean we don’t have to hide anymore?” she asked, hope shining in her eyes.

“Not entirely. We have to stay alert. Hyung-wook is an influential person, and he won’t accept defeat easily,” the detective replied, reminding them of the dangers that still lurk.

Making a Plan

After the meeting, Min-joon and Song-yi return to their rented house. They sit side by side on the couch, taking in everything that has happened. Although they feel calmer, tension still hangs over the atmosphere.

“We need to plan our next move. We can’t just wait,” Min-joon said, trying to ease the concerns.

Song-yi nodded. “How about we find out who is involved in the organization? Maybe we can get more evidence to strengthen our case.”

Min-joon sighed, realizing the potentially dangerous idea. “But it could put us in even more danger.”

“I know, but we can’t give up now. We have to make sure that justice is served,” Song-yi said passionately.

They decide to find out more about the people around Hyung-wook, as well as how to contact former members of the organization who might be willing to talk. Min-joon grabs a laptop and starts doing research, while Song-yi notes down any important information.

Facing the Past

Days pass, and Min-joon and Song-yi continue to investigate. They spend hours in the library and on the internet, searching for relevant information. In the midst of their search, Min-joon comes across an article about Hyung-wook's past that touches his heart.

“Look at this, Song-yi. It turns out Hyung-wook has a complicated background. He was once a neglected child, and maybe that’s what shaped his character now,” Min-joon said, feeling pity.

“It could be. However, there is no excuse for being evil. We all have choices, and he chose the wrong path,” Song-yi replied, firmly.

Min-joon paused for a moment. He felt that even though they were fighting evil, there was a human side that was lost in the process. “Maybe there is a way to stop it without violence. We can show him that there is another way.”

Strengthening Position

With renewed determination, they decide to approach some of Hyung-wook's former organization members. They contact several people and are lucky to find one of them, who is willing to talk. Meeting in a deserted cafe, Min-joon and Song-yi feel anxious but excited.

When the former organization member appeared, they could feel the tension around him. The man looked suspicious but also tired. After chatting for a while, Min-joon and Song-yi told him their purpose.

“We want to stop Hyung-wook and this organization before more people get hurt. What can you give us?” Min-joon asked.

The former member fell silent, then shook his head. “Hyung-wook is very dangerous. He has a lot of connections, and if he finds out I talked to you guys, my life will be over.”

Song-yi tries to reassure him. “We don’t want to hurt anyone. We just want justice.”

After a moment of hesitation, the man begins to detail Hyung-wook's illegal operations. Min-joon and Song-yi listen intently, jotting down any information they might be able to use.

The Fight for Justice

They return to the police station with valuable information that could strengthen their case. The detectives seem pleased to hear the development. “This is very helpful. We will immediately prepare a report and file charges against Hyung-wook.”

However, they all know that the legal process will take time, and the danger is not completely over. Min-joon and Song-yi decide to stay alert, avoid crowded places and never go out alone.

One night, while they were watching a movie at home, they suddenly heard a knock on the door. Min-joon immediately stood up and turned off the television. “What was that?” Song-yi asked, her face pale.

“Listen!” Min-joon whispered. They both hid behind the sofa, trying to listen to the sounds coming from outside. Their hearts were beating fast, and fear began to creep into their hearts.

The door creaked open, and they could see a shadow in the doorway. Min-joon reached for his phone, ready to call the police. However, before he could, a figure emerged from the darkness.

Return of the Enemy

Hyung-wook stood in front of them, a smirk on his face. “You guys are good at hiding. I knew you wouldn’t be able to avoid me forever,” he said, his voice full of menace.

Min-joon felt his heart stop for a moment. “What do you want, Hyung-wook?” he asked, trying to sound calm.

“I want you to surrender. You will never win against me. I have the power, and you are just two helpless people,” Hyung-wook replied, his gaze sharp.

Song-yi stands up, bravely facing their enemies. “We will never give in to your crimes, Hyung-wook. Justice will come.”

“What a waste of courage. You will regret ever daring to go against me,” Hyung-wook said, then turned to leave. Min-joon and Song-yi felt the tension still hanging in the air. They knew that this was not over.

Final Preparations

That night, Min-joon and Song-yi decide to change their strategy. They have to protect themselves and make sure the evidence they have is safe. “We can’t let Hyung-wook know about our plan. We have to plan carefully,” Min-joon says.

Song-yi agrees. “We need to move all important documents to a safe place and find a way to communicate with the authorities without being detected.”

The two of them work together to come up with a plan. They hide the documents in a safe place, then start looking for a way to communicate with the detective without risking Hyung-wook finding out.

Peak of the Fight

A few days later, when they feel ready, Min-joon and Song-yi go to the police station to give an update. The detectives receive them seriously. “We have prepared a plan to catch Hyung-wook. We need you to help us with the undercover work,” the detectives explain.

Min-joon and Song-yi are nervous, but they know this is their chance to end it all. They agree and start planning a cover-up. They will use the information they have to trap Hyung-wook and bring him to justice.

The day of the arrest arrives, and everything goes according to plan. Min-joon and Song-yi are in strategic positions, watching as the detective approaches Hyung-wook. Tensions rise as the detective begins to explain the charges against him.

“Hyung-wook, we have enough evidence to charge you with all the crimes you have committed,” the detective said, his voice firm and confident.

Hyung-wook looks shocked, but quickly recovers. “You will never win. I will destroy you,” he shouts, but by then, a team of police officers is ready to arrest him.

Justice Finally Prevails

After a long legal process, Hyung-wook was finally sentenced to prison. Justice finally prevailed, and Min-joon and Song-yi felt a weight lifted off their shoulders. They had fought hard for what was right, and now they could move on with their lives with more peace of mind.

They stood in front of the courthouse, proud of what they had accomplished. “We did it, Song-yi,” Min-joon said, looking at her with grateful eyes.

“Yes, we did it. But this is just the beginning. There is still a lot we have to do to make sure people like Hyung-wook can’t do bad things again,” Song-yi replied, excitedly.

They know that even though their struggle is not completely over, their love and courage will continue to be a light in the darkness. By supporting each other, they are confident that their future will be better, and that justice will always prevail in the end.

As time goes by, Min-joon and Song-yi continue their lives, sharing happiness and support for each other. They also start to get involved in social activities, helping victims of crime and ensuring that justice is always served. With the bitter experiences they have gone through, they become a voice for the voiceless, giving hope to those trapped in despair.

Their love grew stronger as time went by. They realized that true love can overcome all obstacles and that justice, though sometimes delayed, will always find its way. Together, they looked to the future with confidence, ready to face whatever came, knowing that they would never be alone in this struggle.

After a tense night, Min-joon and Song-yi walk into the police station with determined steps. They know that this is the final step towards the justice they long for. In the room, the atmosphere is calm but full of hope. They have gathered enough evidence to bring down Hyung-wook, and now it is time to make a big decision.

Meeting with Authorities

Min-joon and Song-yi are called to meet with the detective in charge of their case. The room is filled with documents and photographs that show Hyung-wook’s connections to the criminal organization, mapping out the plan they’ve been working on all along. The detective looks at them with respect, realizing the magnitude of the risk they’ve taken.

The Haunting Anxiety

Even though they know they are nearing the end of this struggle, anxiety still lurks in Min-joon and Song-yi. They spend the night with mixed feelings. Relief mixed with fear of the worst. They know that even though the evidence they have is strong, Hyung-wook is not someone who is easily subdued.

“Do you think this will all end the way we hope?” Song-yi asked, her eyes glazed over.

“I don’t know either,” Min-joon answered honestly. “But we have to believe that justice will eventually prevail.”

In the quiet of the night, Song-yi realizes how far they have come together. She feels grateful, but also afraid of losing Min-joon in the midst of this struggle. But behind her worries, there is a burning passion. Holding Min-joon's hand, she feels like they can face whatever comes.

Making the Final Strategy

After calming down, the two of them come up with a final plan to ensure their evidence reaches the police safely. They decide to find additional witnesses from Hyung-wook's inner circle who might be willing to testify. Every step is taken with extreme caution, making sure not to leave any traces behind.

While they are making plans, they receive news that one of their key witnesses, a former member of Hyung-wook's organization, is willing to speak openly and testify at the trial. This increases Min-joon and Song-yi's optimism.

“Finally, we have real evidence and a witness who can help us pin Hyung-wook down,” Min-joon says excitedly. Song-yi smiles in relief, but she knows that this isn’t the end of their fight. They still have to face Hyung-wook in court, and the stakes remain high.

Judgment Day

The day of the trial arrives. The courthouse is filled with reporters and observers who are curious about the developments in this major case. Min-joon and Song-yi sit in the front row, alongside the detectives who are handling their case, while Hyung-wook sits in the defendant's seat with a cold, unwavering expression.

Testimony after testimony is heard, including from former members of the organization who provide detailed accounts of Hyung-wook's illegal operations. Each time a new fact emerges, Hyung-wook simply smiles thinly, seemingly unfazed.

When it was Song-yi's turn to testify, she felt nervous. She recalled all the moments of fear, worry, and threats she had experienced because of Hyung-wook. With a trembling but firm voice, she recounted her experiences, making sure to convey every detail clearly.

“Hyung-wook is not just a criminal,” Song-yi said in an emotional voice. “He is a threat to the lives of people who just want to live in peace. I stand here to make sure justice is served.”

Min-joon is proud of Song-yi's courage, and when it's his turn, he calmly explains Hyung-wook's role in each of the crimes that occurred. His words are full of evidence, and he tries to make the judge see how dangerous Hyung-wook is if left free.

Hyung-wook's arrest

After a series of testimonies and evidence presented, the judge finally made a decision. Unanimously, Hyung-wook was found guilty of all the charges against him, and he was sentenced to a long prison sentence. The court erupts with applause and cheers, while Hyung-wook looks at Min-joon and Song-yi with an eerily cold stare.

“See you later,” Hyung-wook says with a menacing smile as the police lead him away. Even though he’s behind bars now, Min-joon and Song-yi know that his threat isn’t completely gone.

Back to Peaceful Life

After a long battle, Min-joon and Song-yi are finally able to return to their peaceful lives. However, this experience has changed them. They no longer view life the same way. Every day, they feel closer to each other, and the bond between them grows stronger.

Song-yi begins writing a book about her experiences, hoping to inspire others to not give up in the face of injustice. Min-joon supports her wholeheartedly, even helping her with every step of the writing process. The book is a moving work, a story of courage, love, and the fight for justice.

They are both also involved in social activities, helping victims of crime and making sure that they do not feel alone. Their presence gives hope to those who are desperate, teaching that justice always has its place.

Love that Grows in the Middle of Struggle

Amidst their busy lives, Min-joon and Song-yi find small happiness in simple things. They begin to celebrate life, cherishing every moment together. One day, on the beach where they first met, Min-joon expresses his feelings more deeply.

“I never thought I would find someone like you, Song-yi. You make my life meaningful,” he said.

Song-yi smiled with tears of joy in her eyes. “I feel the same way. In the midst of all the hardships, you are the light that always makes me strong.”

The two of them stood on the beach, looking at the sunset with feelings of hope. For them, the future is now full of new possibilities, and they are ready to experience it all together.
