Mediterranean Restaurants You Just Can’t Miss
I had no idea how living in London for three years would turn me into a complete foodie. While growing up near the Gulf of Mexico always meant fresh seafood & water views, I never knew what incredible Mediterranean restaurants were just across the Atlantic. While it may seem like a long flight to catch for a Michelan star meal, check out these Mediterranean eats that will leave you grabbing your passport for your post-quarintine getaway.

Camino Cuisine - Tips For Vegans On The Camino De Santiago.
It ain’t easy being a vegan on the Camino de Santiago! On the other hand, it isn’t impossible. During my Caminos in 2016 and 2018, I was a vegetarian which completely went out of the window for both of my Caminos. The need for a constant supply of food for energy without always having a kitchen handy meant that I ate whatever I could get my hands on.

The Best Ramen in Japan
If you love ramen and you hate talking to people, then this is the restaurant for you. Ichran Ramen Shinjuku is a restaurant where you have your own little private eating area. You’re still sitting beside other people, but they have dividers in between each seat giving you your private area. Not only do you get to have your own private area, but you pretty much don’t have to speak to anyone. The most anyone says to you is “how many people?”, “please go to the sixth floor”, and “please fill this out.” This is great for those like myself and Nick who don’t really like having to talk much to strangers.

The Food of Philadelphia
The cuisine of the city of Philadelphia in the US state of Pennsylvania developed through history, the arrival of immigrants and what ingredients were available. In the days gone by, city taverns were the main meeting places for politicians and businessmen in the 18th century, and two Philadelphia landmarks were created in the 19th century. They were the Reading Terminal Market and Italian market.

Confections of Sovereign Hill
Sovereign Hill is an outdoor museum set in the 19th century and dedicated to Australia’s fabulous goldrush history. BUT! Some would argue it’s more famous for its confections than its gold! And it just so happens that my husband, William, is one of the team of about 15 19th century confectioners at Sovereign Hill that make these famous lollies, so we got the inside scoop!

My Seattle Favorites Volume 3
For Volume 3, I have decided to compile a list of my favorite coffee shops in the city. As Seattle is literally THE city for coffee, this was a particularly hard list to compile. However, if you are in the city, whether for a visit, if you've just moved, or even if you have lived here all your life, you’d be remiss to not try at least one of these places, as they all offer amazing coffee, delightful ambience, and literal quirks that make them worthy of this list! If you haven't checked out Volume 1 and 2 yet, I suggest you do! As per usual, they are in no particular order.
