The Green Light
The Green Shift: A Journey to Healing, Energy, and Rediscovery Through Food When Maya first stepped into her thirties, she imagined it would feel like leveling up—confident, successful, energetic. Instead, she found herself constantly exhausted, battling mood swings, bloating after nearly every meal, and a creeping sense of dissatisfaction with her body. She wasn’t sick, exactly—but she wasn’t well either.

Eid-ul-Azha in Bangladesh: The Spirit of Sacrifice and Togetherness
Introduction Eid-ul-Azha, or the Festival of Sacrifice, is one of the two major Islamic festivals observed by Muslims across the globe. It gains an added cultural as well as religious importance in Bangladesh, uniting people from all walks of life in one single act of piety, devotion, and charity. The festival falls on the 10th of the Islamic calendar’s month of Zilhajj. It’s not just the festival of Prophet Ibrahim’s (A.S) willingness to sacrifice his son at Allah’s command, but also a grand reminder of such virtues as submission, humility, and mercy.

Last Meal On Earth - Death Row Dinner Letter
Author's Notes: For this week in my ongoing slog through making my name and writing appear all over Vocal via my self-imposed ABCommunities Challenge, I have arrived on the Feast Community. I figured I'd just write about some of my favourite food. Wow, holy hot dogs, Batman! I know, I know... hold onto your excitement, folks! Also, I've taken a slightly different approach to a Feast piece. Cos, I'm Paul. Also, also, we have one more week before I reach Filthy, next week, from Wednesday 16th onwards! Woo?

Cesar Chavez: A Legacy of Justice and Compassion
Early Life and Hardships Cesar Estrada Chavez was born on March 31, 1927, near Yuma, Arizona, into a Mexican-American family. His early years were tough. During the Great Depression, his family lost their farm and became migrant workers, moving across California to find jobs. As a child, Cesar worked long hours in the fields with his parents. These experiences showed him how farmworkers were treated unfairly—low pay, unsafe conditions, and discrimination.

Dolly Parton’s 5 Layer Casserole Recipe
Growing up in the 70's, casseroles were practically their own food group in my house. My mom had a favorite—some kind of ground beef concoction layered with mystery vegetables and a creamy tomato sauce, all tangled up with macaroni. It wasn’t exactly a showstopper, but man, did it hit the spot. And that’s exactly how I felt when I stumbled upon Dolly Parton’s five-ingredient, five-layer casserole. It’s not winning any beauty contests, but with a few tweaks, it’s as cozy and comforting as a big warm hug from the Queen of Country herself.

Café Etiquette
This was inspired by one of my own comments: Take a look at these brain droppings once again, and please note that I have commented on many small details about life that we often ignore. Here, I wrote about how the best cafés serve coffee not worth their particular atmospheres, and many of you were amused by this thought. And I may one day continue with these lines (so much to contain in notebooks).
