A Sound of Thunder
I was in the 6th or 7th grade when we had a story "The Vacation" by Ray Bradbury in our reading list. I liked it, which did not happened too often to readings from the school program. And my parents put a book with more stories from the author in front of me. The first one was "A Sound of Thunder". I would say this book affected my life in two different ways. First of all it was the first time I heard about "butterfly effect", and the thought that the smallest movement in the past, may make a huge difference in the future - it was incredible. I remember about it since then and it gave me realization that if something bad happened you never can be sure that if such a thing had not occurred, the world would have been any better today. It gives you some kind of additional perspective when you think about historical events or even personal ones.

My Relationship with Twilight
Like a lot of people, I love a good book: one that makes you laugh, or cry, or see things from a different perspective. One that spurs you to some sort of action. One that sticks with you long after you’ve finished reading it. For me, that book was Twilight. Now, before you go thinking this is going to be another ‘’Team Edward vs Team Jacob” type of piece, let me clarify what I mean. Twilight was my springboard that made me believe in myself enough to take that leap to becoming a writer.

Mick Harte Was Here by Barbara Park
I knew as soon as I saw this challenge, what book I would choose. I’m going way back for this, about 15 years. I’ve loved reading since I was a kid. I was always good at reading. Back in my elementary school days, my grandma who I had lived with along with my mother and father and two siblings, worked at a book factory. A place where they sewed the books together.
