Fighting for More Than Survival: The Story Behind Shadow Fist
In a world where stories often prioritize spectacle over substance, some narratives choose a different path. They focus not just on action, but on the emotional weight behind every decision, every fall, and every rise.

John Gorka
For more than four decades, John Gorka has occupied a distinctive place in American folk music: a songwriter whose work unfolds quietly but lingers deeply. His songs favor careful observation over spectacle, humor alongside gravity, and melodies that invite listeners closer rather than overwhelm them. It is a career built less on flash than on endurance—one song, one audience, one intimate room at a time.

The Memes Of Ruby And The Mystery Cats
I have only met Caroline Wilkinson once, she was performing at the Cluny 2 playing an Iggy Pop song but she is also Ruby of Ruby and the Mystery Cats, a red hot rockabilly rock and roll combo vaguely located around Tyneside.

Ozzfest return
In a previous article i wrote regarding Ozzfest I wrote about how I don't think that Ozzfest should return with Ozzy and quite frankly I still don't. However, I have looked at it from both sides of the aisle as they say and though i stand by my point of view i also see that Ozzfest should carry on and it would be a great way to carry on and honor Ozzy's name and legacy and also still fly the flag for heavy music and metal as it had always done.

Playlist: shoegaze to blues
Spacecadetbloom – Playing Cards Going back more than 30 years, My Bloody Valentine were on the bill at the first gig I ever attended (in the glamourous surroundings of Whitley Bay Ice Rink, no less). I’d mostly gone to hear the Mary Chain, but MBV’s wall of dense, swirling sound made a huge, positive impression. Blur, the odd man out on that Rollercoaster tour, also made a huge impression, but sadly not a positive one.

Ludacris Celebrates 25 Years of Hits, Hustle and History at Jazz in the Gardens by NWO Sparrow
Ludacris and 25 Years of Standing Up by NWO Sparrow The Dirty South has always had something to say. And for 25 years, Ludacris has been the one talking the loudest, clearest, and cleverest while the whole world tuned in. When Jazz in the Gardens kicks off its 19th year at Hard Rock Stadium this March, Sunday night belongs to Christopher "Ludacris" Bridges. He's rolling through Miami Gardens with a special 25th anniversary set, and if you caught wind of what happened at ONE Musicfest back in October, you already know this ain't gonna be your standard festival run-through .
