The Hotel del Coronado
The Hotel del Coronado is located in San Diego, California and it is not just your ordinary hotel. Back in 1958 Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon and other actors and actresses gathered here to film the popular movie “Some Like It Hot. The author of 'The Wizard of Oz” L. Frank Baum said that this hotel inspired him created the Emerald City because even though the hotel isn't green it was similar to what Baum imagined Emerald City to look like.

The Crazy Ax Woman
The cabin in the woods had been abandoned for years, but one night, a candle burned in the window. Afterward, every night at exactly midnight, the candle lit up, and one could hear the maniacal laughter of a woman. The old-timers in the closest village Pineville nodded their heads when they heard about the candlelight in the cabin's window. It simply meant the spirit of crazy Anna had returned.

The Amaranth or Redroot Pigween is a herbaceous plant that is known for its magenta-colored catkin flowers which bloom in the autumn and the summer. The plant has egg-shaped leaves with hairy stems and branches. It is widespread through temperate regions in northern and southern hemispheres but is endemic to the northern, eastern, and central regions of the US.

The rice is seasoned with curry spices among them fenugreek and coriander. In England it is a popular choice for breakfast and in Scotland it is prepared with smoked haddock.

Have Your Pasta Italian Style
Meat Sagne e fagioli is a rustic dish from the Abruzzo and Molise regions. It is prepared with beans cooked in tomato sauce with strips of homemade pasta added to the pot toward the end of cooking. The homemade noodles are made with flour and water and the sauce is made with tomatoes, celery, carrots, onions, chilli pepper and olive oil. The dish can include pancetta or pork rinds.
