Lovely Lansing
Lansing is the capital of the U.S. state of Michigan. It is one of the most important cosmopolitan hubs not only in Michigan but also in the country. The city offers visitors lots of opportunities to enjoy nature, experience art, see impressive architecture, and cheer at sporting events.

Verona on the Adige River
Verona is a charming city that became a Roman colony in 89 BCE. When it comes to tourism the city sometimes is overshadowed by its glamorous neighbor, Venice, but the city has much to offer including art and architecture. It was an important artistic center during the Renaissance. Earlier it was ruled by the powerful della Scala family referred to as the Scaligeri. The impressive buildings and bastioned town walls were built by the leading 15th and 16th-century architects, Fra Giocondo and Michele Sanmicheli.

A Talented Performer
This talented British-Irish singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist came into the world as Christopher John Davison but is professionally known as Chris de Burgh. This talented musician has recorded 23 studio albums, 9 compilations, 4 live albums, and 66 singles. His greatest success came in 1986 when he released the love song “Lady In Red” which reached number one in several countries.

Living on the Wild Side
Living on Land and in Trees Aye-Ayes have large eyes and are rare lemurs native to Madagascar. They are the largest nocturnal primates in the world. These creatures have rodent-like teeth that grow perpetually. They have special middle fingers that are long and thin. These fingers are needed for their unusual feeding ritual known as “percussive foraging”. The aye-ayes tap on trees to locate grubs, chew a hole into the wood, and with their long middle fingers pull the grubs out.

Annapolis on the Chesapeake Bay
Annapolis the capital of the U.S. state of Maryland is located on Chesapeake Bay. It is a wonderful city with scenic views over the ocean. The city is one of the oldest cities in the US. It had the honor of serving as the capital of the nation before it was moved to the District of Columbia. Annapolis was one of the first cities to be designated as a National Historic Landmark District.

Amazing Venice
Venice is a truly amazing city that was built on over 100 small islands in a marshy lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. The city is the capital of northeastern Italy’s Veneto region and exploring it means that you’ll find something to delight in around every corner. Transportation here is by boat on the canal. Venice has been the background of many romantic movies.
