Love That Never Dies
How many times and in how many ways do our loved ones let us know that they are near? It is a question that has been repeated over and over again and yet, there are still those who do not believe that after death our loved ones are still near us. I know that they are and that they will be there to watch over us until we meet again. I am not only talking about family members but also about friends, past loves, and anyone who has closely touched our lives. We despair when they are gone but that despair should fade if we let them into our hearts and into our lives once more. The main thing is to never, ever be afraid. There is nothing to fear and what you gain is having that person you miss so much be beside you again. It doesn’t mean that they will be there all the time but at certain times you will feel, hear or just know that they are there. I thought about writing this now because I find that spirits come more often at certain times and one of those times is when the seasons change.

This Was Buffalo Springfield
Buffalo Springfield was an American rock band that came together in Los Angeles, California. The band was formed by Canadian musicians Neil Young, Bruce Palmer, and Dewey Martin and American musicians Stephen Stills and Richie Furay. They are still recognized for their song “For What It’s Worth”. From 1966 – 1968 the band came out with several singles and three albums. Their music was a mix of folk music and country music. When the British Invasion came on the scene it influenced as well as psychedelic rock.

Hit Me Once Hit Me Twice Hit Me Again
Hey, I don’t know about anyone else but some of these songs are just awesome. So it is no wonder they were such great hits of their time and luckily can still be found online to listen to. It always seems to me that after a really great hit that you want to listen to again and again and the groups could not repeat their success it is just like a sudden silence envelopes the world. I hope some of these are your favorites too.

No Regrets Have I
The song that inspired this poem was by the well-known French singer Edith Piaf and the song is "Non, Je ne Regret Rien". So she regretted nothing either and even though the song is in French the melody is lovely and her voice is awesome. It truly inspired me.

British Rock Group Cream
Another British rock group that really rocked the charts with their music was Cream. The boys in the band were Jack Bruce vocalist/guitarist, Eric Clapton Vocalist/guitarist, and Ginger Baker drummer. Their special kind of music consisted of blues rock, hard rock, and psychedelic rock. When Cream came out with their third album titled Wheels of Fire it became the world’s first platinum-selling double album. During their time they sold over fifteen million albums all over the globe. Among their songs were traditional blues like “Crossroads” and “Spoonful”, modern blues like “Born Under a Bad Sign” and kind of eccentric songs like “Strange Brew”, “Tales of Brave Ulysses”, and “Toad”.
