The Young and the Restless dishonored Rey in several ways
The Young and the Restless plays favorites The Young and the Restless writers stunned fans by killing off Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) just when it looked like he might begin a relationship with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). This was just a setup for what was coming and some viewers felt like they were deceived. Truthfully Rey was actually long gone months before the fatal accident.

General Hospital casts Evan Hofer as Dex who might replace Jason
General Hospital: A possible new enforcer Last week on General Hospital Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard ) announced that Brick (Stephen C Smith) would be taking over the duties of the presumed dead Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Smith is a sportscaster and is currently involved in several projects at this time. Viewers would love to see more of Brick but have assumed that his additional responsibilities would mostly be off-screen. Now it has been revealed that Evan Hofer has been hired by the ABC soap as a character who will seek a job working for Sonny.

Clint Howard child star Clint Howard is the younger brother of actor/director Ron Howard snd is fondly remembered for his role as little Leon the boy with the peanut butter sandwiches who never spoke on The Andy Griffith Show. The child actor portrayed another memorable character in an episode of Star Trek: The Original Series which aired on November 10, 1966.

Deacon Sharpe wreaks havoc on The Bold and the Beautiful Some viewers of The Young and the Restless have been asking about the character Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) who has been exposed as helping Diane Jenkins ( Susan Walters) fake her own death. This is a rewriting of history as it was never shown on screen or even implied at the time Diane died. As far as Genoa City residents and Y&R fans knew Diane was dead and buried until now.

The first series was quite successful but only included current and former cast members of the NBC soap.
