What do you see when you look at me?

I have suffered in happiness,

I have been broken and repaired,

I have lost many times but also gained,

I have seen the bottom and found the top,

I have been absent but ever present,

I have found a light but i've seen the darkness,

I have found my strength in my greatest weakness,

I have shivered in the cold and basked in the sunset,

I have cried tears of pain and joy,

I have never felt better and always feel the worst,

I have gone beyond my limits but also failed to start,

I have been fortunate in my misfortunes,

I have accepted death by living,

I have started alone and finished alone,

I have forgotten to remember who I am,

I have chased time and watched it stand still,

I have a lot of love to give but don't know of true love,

I dared to be something not meant for me,

I have given my all and left with nothing,

I have followed but taken a different path,

I have grown to accept the little things,

I have learned to understand how to simplify,

I have traveled far and wide to appreciate the life around me,

I am just a human, I am not who you think I am.
