Three Ships

They bring us blessing as they arrive at our shaw

Three Ships

Three ships sailed in, their sails held high,

Hope, Faith, and Charity under the sky.

They brought no treasure, no jewels, no gold,

But gifts far greater, timeless and bold.

Hope came first, with its radiant light,

Guiding through storms, through the darkest night.

It whispered softly, “Hold fast, stay true,

For brighter days will come to you.”

Then Faith appeared, steady and strong,

A compass for hearts when the path felt wrong.

It promised, “Believe, and you shall see,

The power within to set you free.”

Last came Charity, gentle and kind,

A balm for the weary, the broken mind.

It shared its warmth, its tender grace,

Healing the world, embracing each face.

Three ships sailed on, to every shore,

Bearing gifts that last forevermore.

Hope, Faith, and Charity, steadfast and free,

Anchored in hearts for eternity.

To me this could be a true sailor's poem. Good work.
