The Path I Walk
My lord painted it for just me

The Path I Walk
My maker painted the path I walk,
With colors of dreams and whispers of grace.
Each step I take, each breath I speak,
Is guided by hands that time can’t erase.
Yet in the quiet of the painted trail,
A shadow lingers, soft and wide.
Though the path is bright, the footsteps pale,
It’s often lonely where my heart resides.
The sun may rise, the stars may fall,
But in the silence, I hear no call.
Not of others, but of dreams untold,
A road to follow, yet never quite whole.
Still, I walk, though the way may be long,
For in the solitude, I find my song.
Each step I take, though fleeting, still true,
For the path I walk is made for me—
And no one else.

I've been writing poetry since the age of 10. With pen in hand, I wander the realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture you ❤️#Marie381UkWrites

so beautiful and that picture is so perfect that I'm thinking which one came first the picture or the poem?
Love the way this explores walking a unique, personal path! The balance between light and shadow really adds depth to the journey. Keep walking that path—it's yours and it’s meaningful!✨
That’s how life feels, sometimes…that none understand the road you walk but you. This spoke to me today.
