Sunshine Lessons
Best days of our life gone. We didn’t know at the time

Sunshine Lessons
The classroom hums, the day is bright.
Chalk scratches slow, but hearts are fast.
The windows open, wind slips in.
It carries stories, it carries dust.
We sit in rows, yet worlds collide.
A hand raised, a thought, a shout.
The teacher smiles, the lesson bends.
Knowledge flows, like rivers inside.
Outside the walls, the playground waits.
We rush, we spill, we dive, we spin.
The sun pours gold, it drips through hair.
Our laughter climbs, it will not end.
Evening comes, the bells descend.
Our minds are full, our hearts still wild.
The day was ours, in every way.
We leave it glowing, in memory’s halls.

Very well written.
School days, school days oh those golden rule days. Loved school and still remember some fun times. Good job.
Fabulous work Marie!
