It’s an action, quite simple

But often treated as laughable

In the online world, at least

It’s not a yes, that’s for sure

But it can be done, fairly demure

Or with passion, if you choose

Or even swaying to a tune.

Sometimes it is rather loaded

To answer a text with such a message

Even when your head isn’t seen

Moving directions or trying to glean.

After all, it’s like LOL:

It lightens the mood, it chimes the bells

Whether that should be done, depends on the case

Are you trying to build or trying to erase?

So good luck using SMH

May it brighten your darkest days

If they’re drenched in ice and rain.
