Musings of April
A confusing memory
Us, taping a fish
Notes:
It is customary in Italy (and apparently France too) for children to tape the drawing of a fish to the back of an unknowing victim as a prank for April Fool's, which we call "pesce d'aprile" (literally: April's fish).
I still have no clue why we call the pranks "fish" on this specific day only, nor why taping the drawing of a fish to someone's back would be such a great prank.

This is hilarious. My maternal grandparents were Italian and I had never heard of this. Where in Italy are you or are you elsewhere in the world! Well done in this.
Hahahahaha this is the first time I've heard of this fish thingy for April Fools day. And it's hilarious! I wonder what's the backstory hehehe. Loved your Haiku!
Love the clownfish and your April poem
