Sing to me in pieces,
My voice is lost in cadence.
Hope reverberates in times of waves,
Crashing into me in memory.
I’ve lost myself in tides,
Finding you again in the siren’s lullaby.
Forgive me,
My mind is gone,
My heart remembers.
You’re here,
Again,
Again…
While I am lost in the midst of frost-bitten memories,
My heart hears the echoes of our story,
Spoken in victories,
Carried over my broken mind.
Your voice,
Again,
Again,
Again…
I find you in my dreams,
You’re dressed in midnight’s velvet,
The stars are in your eyes,
Your voice wakens,
Stirs me,
Once again.
I find us there,
Within the waves,
Only to lose you,
To my broken mind.
Only to find you between heartbeats.
My midnight siren,
Please let me die.
