Gorilla love
In a jungle green, where the wild things play,
I fell for a gorilla, in a crazy way.
His laughter was bright, his heart was so free,
With a taste for bananas, oh, he was for me!
We swung through the trees, what a fun dance,
Two silly lovers, lost in romance.
But fate had a laugh, what a wild twist,
A branch gave a crack—he fell on his wrist!
He tumbled down like a big clumsy freak,
I cried so much, tears rolled down my cheeks!
But as he got up, something strange came through,
It smelt like poo, it made me spew!
With every little poop, my giggles took flight,
Was it love or his lunch? This didn’t feel right!
Oh, how we danced, but things went astray,
His funny old farts make me laugh to this day.
We split with a sigh, that was our end,
My big furry prince was too gassy, my friend!
Yet I treasure those days, filled with laughs and cheer,
For love, even stinky, is a gem, oh dear!
So here’s to the gorilla, my silly old mate,
Whose gassy sweet love turned out to be fate.
In the book of our romance, we share a good laugh,
Though the stinky old bits still make me gasp!
