Frost on the Web

So beautiful the spiders gift on a frosty morning

Frost on the Web

A spider’s web, so fine and true,

Caught in the frost, a silver hue.

Each thread is dressed in crystal bright,

Glistening softly in morning light.

The delicate strands, like threads of lace,

Hold winter’s beauty in their place.

A fragile art, so pure and small,

A frozen masterpiece, that’s all.

The spider weaves with silent grace,

Each pattern forms a sacred space.

Her hands so small, her skill so vast,

A work of wonder, made to last.

With whispers of night, the dawn awakes,

Gently kissing the frost as it breaks.

Each shimmer brings a tale of old,

Of nature’s magic, a story told.

The frost will fade, the sun will rise,

But in this moment, beauty lies.

A spider’s gift, a quiet gleam,

In the winter’s gentle, frosty dream.

Through chilly air and brisk embrace,

The web will glow in nature’s grace.

So pause a while, let your heart feel,

The beauty crafted in winter’s seal.

Spider webs frosted over or covered in dew do make for some interesting artwork. Great work.
