There once was a woman so fair,

Who lost twenty bucks at the fair,

Two weeks later, in store,

Found twenty once more—

And gave it away unaware.

***

There once was a man caught in lies,

Who denied them with straight, steady eyes,

But when his wife strayed

From the truth that she made,

He raged at her shocking disguise.

***

There once was a girl kind and fair,

Who helped a stranger with bus fare,

At a drive-through one day,

Someone else chose to pay—

Kindness circling back through the air.

***

There once was a young man with art,

Who paid for an old woman’s cart,

Soon an order came through,

Big and paying him too—

As if kindness had played its part.

***

There's always the truth, old yet wise,

That echoes in deeds and replies,

What you send will come through,

Back around, back to you—

In disguises you won’t recognize.

Ha ha love it. I found a £1 coin once and put it back n a charity box. Same day I found another and kept it as a lucky piece
