A Virtual Hug

Little things that mean a lot

A Virtual Hug

Through screens and wires, we reach to touch,

A simple gesture that means so much.

No hands to hold, no arms to squeeze,

Yet comfort flows with such sweet ease.

A click, a tap, a steady glow,

A hug of heartstrings begins to grow.

No distance too far, no time too wide,

You feel my warmth, though I’m not by your side.

In ones and zeros, my care takes flight,

To wrap you gently in the quiet night.

A bridge of love, unseen, but true,

A virtual hug from me to you.
