I've been told my whole life that sharing is a virtue, so I guess that makes me a saint today.
Look, I'm tired of the noise. I'm tired of the weight behind my eyes and that buzzing in my ears that sounds like a thousand bees trying to start a band in my head. They say a debt is only a burden if you're the one holding the bill... and I feel like I've held it long enough.
I have this song, Unlovable Things, stuck in my head! It will not get out! It's weird and catchy and fun... and it's about to be the last thing you ever want to stop hearing.
It's a masterpiece, really.
It's so good that it would be selfish of me to keep it all for myself anymore.

Mirrors in the Mojave
Barstow at 3:15 p.m. was basically the surface of the sun. It was the kind of heat that made the asphalt feel squishy and the air taste like burnt rubber. You never really got used to it. No matter how long you lived there, you always complained. This toast is for my ex-wife Carole and Brian. I have no idea what I am doing at this wedding, but don't worry I have not checked the mail in two days. I feel very powerful at this moment, feeling that I have the power to ruin everything with the stroke of a pen or lack of a stroke. However, I would like to wish you both years of happiness, and mortgage payments, and babies and child support. I will be sure to sign on the dotted line, granting you, the freedom to remarry, of course you just did that.
