The Strawberry Chapter 14

By Katherine Aguilar

Moments in time can be captured and let go. I discarded old, stale seeds left over from others, which had done nothing for me, and replaced them with healthy seeds. I water them every day and share them with others.

Emotions set free

Going through a hard time brought me to where I am today. Releasing emotions that I thought I had let go of years ago, only to discover them again as I write. I held those emotions in my heart. Writing is setting myself emotionally free. Making room for healthier memories and relationships will help me be a better person. As I write. It is letting them go so that they will not visit them again. Only holding on to the items in my trinket box that are healthy. Which I open when interacting with others.

Good people are placed in once's life to guide them. At times, a seed will bloom unexpectedly. It seems to me. I go into my trinket box and pull out what I have learned from other people. I see their actions. I like it.I give myself a mental note, " I will see if it works. If it didn't work, oh well, at least I tried". While I'm busy living my life. Other people were busy throwing seeds of theirs my way. Some of their seeds, they said, were for someone else. They didn't take them. I was happy to take them. For myself. Because I knew it was a good seed. By me saying that. I would be out having lunch with some friends and a person. Would be advising another person. And the person whom they were advising was not interested in hearing it.

I sure was. I wanted them to finish giving them advice. So I could get all the seeds and use them for myself.

This story is about a seed of kindness I received from someone. I value this as one of the most valuable I have ever received.

Golden FLIP Flops

The simplest things can open a window of emotions that spill forth of things needing to flow out, and make room for new things to flow in, which are even better than what was held inside.

This story is very deep in my memory, and I cherish it. This chapter goes back to a kind act that planted a deep seed of kindness.

Many years back. I had a medical experience. I was dropped off at the hospital to find out what was going on.

The result was nothing. I ended up going home a couple of weeks later. It was what happened in between that had the biggest memory. On my heart and remembering that act of kindness. When I had gone to the hospital. I had no shoes. I basically had nothing. Only one person visited me one time during my health emergency. It was my cousin. I was grateful for that one visit.

What moved me more even than that was the act of kindness from a stranger. A person I have never met. It was set to go home. The doctors found nothing wrong. They told me. I was going home. I had nothing.

I had been talking with this man. I told him I had no shoes. This man was going through his own emergency. Stopped walking, took off their shoes, and gave them to me. He said, "I would rather walk barefoot than you go home with no shoes.” This act of kindness was one of the most beautiful things a person has ever done for me. He, too, was in the same position as I was, but he gave me his shoes. When he was in the same position as he was.

It was as if it had given me the most expensive shoes ever in my life. They were flip-flops. As far as I was concerned, they were the most expensive shoes.

I hold that act of kindness in my heart. Which I too will do for others. He may not realize the impact he left on me. It is a gold seed for my trinket box.

That seed he planted in my mind and heart.

Mathew 25:40

“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

Mood

A person can pretty much set the mood for their day just with how they get up. If they were already dreading getting up. They have already started the drain on their day, and they haven’t even gotten out of bed yet.

This story is set by a stranger who didn't even know they made a difference, for I do not have any interaction with them, but just see them as we pass once in a while down the hall. It is a valuable seed.

When one walks into a room. Determine how their face looks. If they go in with their face looking sour before they make it into the room. They just bring with them an unhappy energy. That they start draining the mood of pleasantry in the room.

This story goes back a few years. There was a person whose name I didn’t know. Would there be a person who walks down the hall, going from one office to another? Our paths didn’t cross much, but when I did see them. Their demeanor carried such freshness as if they even unknowingly sprayed the hallway with a freshener to get rid of the stale air.

They do not walk around with a smile all day. That would be nuts. Still, they have a pleasant face. Seeing them.

I had stopped myself. To evaluate my look on my face. Giving myself what kind of energy am I projecting as I walk down the hall? I took this item to use his deamonor to my biromoter. To assess my own demeanor and attitude. If I were looking too seriously or giving off the wrong energy. I need to just relax.

They never said one word. It was just their pleasant demeanor.

When you are around a person who is a people watcher, it is good to evaluate what you are projecting to others.

Being attitude bermotier in someone's life unknowingly can make the other person a better person, and they don't even know it.

Unknowingly, this person has helped me become a better person.

We all need a beromiter in our lives. To remind us, we are not the only ones in this world going through something or needing an adjustment.

Thank you for sharing your memories. The gold flip flops reminded me of Jesus’ sandals. The man who gave you his sandals showed much kindness. In his own way, he protected your feet as you prepared to go into the outside world. Somewhat like Jesus washing your feet. Thank you for letting your readers into your memory box.
